In August 2023, i called Victor Self Storage and advised them that we were moving out on September 17th, 2023 and they removed the auto-pay from our account so we did not get billed for another month. A week after our move out date, i called to let them know we were gone from the storage unit, and find out where i need to drop our keys. I advised them that I was not anywhere near the storage unit and i was not going near it for a while. Fast Track to Today, i was finally able to get over to the storage unit due to a business meeting in the area. I attempted to get into the storage unit and my code was not working for the gated entry. I called and spoke to their overseas representative on the phone and she advised me that there was a balance on our account for a storage unit we vacated from over 2 months ago, and i advised her that i was finally able to make it to the storage unit however my gate code did not work. She continued to read from the script and advised i need to pay for a storage unit that i advised that i was no longer occupying and in order to perform "Move Out" i must take a picture of the storage unit empty, however, without getting into the gate, i cannot take a picture of the empty storage unit. I advised her that i will not be paying for a storage unit that i am not occupying anymore, and they are going to need to have someone go look at the storage unit or let me in the gate. When i asked for a manager to speak with to explain the situation, she hung up the phone on me.
