I never wrote a review before, but the behavior of this company was so reprehensible, that I am compelled to write a review. I hired Dale Randall Contracting to build a flat roof in early June. The roof was not properly built. When it rained, the roof became a pond that stored a large amount of water (picture taken). On June 12, water started to leak into the bedroom underneath the roof, and caused furniture damage ( pictures taken). I contacted the company and requested a repair. After numerous phone calls and several delays, they showed up on June 27. They agreed to build another roof on top of the old one. In order to create a pitch, they took down wall sidings and lifted an exterior door. However, throughout the day, they denied that roof was built improperly, and instead claimed that the cause of the leak was an exterior wall on the leak-free side of the roof. Without my permission, they tore up part of the wall, and offered to repair it for $2400. When rejected repeatedly, the owner ordered the crew to stop working and leave the property. The wall was left open without sidings (pictures taken). The other wall was left open with insulation materials exposed (pictures taken). The exterior door was not sealed. Dale Randall Contracting put a new roof on my house and built a deck off my home for me. I was so pleased with the work they did and the work crew were very friendly and they cleaned up everything so nicely. I couldn't afford to pay for all the beautiful work they did so the owner and myself talked and he allowed me to pay payments to him directly I thought that was very geniune of him to help me out and work with me I don't know to many people that would do that for a complete stranger. I want to thank you and your crew for everything you did for me if it wasn't for you I could have never gotten my roof replaced or my beautiful deck that I love so much. My experience with Dale was very favorable. He was responsive to my initial inquiry, was respectful of not only my time but of me as well. The job was completed efficiently and thoroughly. I had been trying for several weeks communicating with other roofers, many who said "sure, I'll get right out there and get you an estimate," but they never did. Dale followed through on all steps of the project as he said he would.

Josh V********* appeared unsolicited to my 90 year old Mothers home in February with ice and snow on the roof. Requested access to her crawl space and showed photos of leaking and wet insulation and an estimate of $15,000. My 90 year old Mother feared roof collapse and gave a check for $7500. Work began the next day with additional check written for $17,500 as explained damage was far worse than original estimate. Work completed in 5 days and additional check written for $21,000. Total cost for roof replacement on a 2 bedroom single story ranch $46,000. 3 requests on my part to speak with Dale Randall were unsuccessful, and I was told he was at the store and would be back in 20 minutes. Dale Randall’s company is 104 miles away from my 90 year old Mothers home. Her roof had been redone 6 years ago, but she was told previous roofers did a bad job and voided any warranties. She may have needed roof replacement and they did show up every day and completed the work. I would never recommend this company, I felt they used fear and rush job tactics on a 90 year old woman who payed $46,000 for a new roof.Dale Randall Contracting Response

I'm sorry you feel that way but you are wrong about half of what you have put on here. I'm not going to get into that here. I don't understand why you wrote all this about my company I do my job to the best of my ability and I would never take advantage of anyone at any age and that's what you make it sound like I did I have more than enough work I don't have to do that and never would. I guess you can say whatever you want but I don't believe my company would be doing as well as it is if I was the kind of person you say I am. I'm not upset though it doesn't change anything I know I'm not that kind of person. Have a good day
