On 12/23/2022, I placed an online order successfully at DXL for 2 items, one item was to be shipped to my home, and the other item was to be picked up at the DXL store located in ****************, **. The order number is: ********* and is currently listed as "in progress" and I received an e-mail confirmation of this as well as a text message. The next day I went to the DXL store# ****, located at ***************************************************************************** to pick up the item that was to be picked up at the store (item# B7636, ******************* ****** Hybrid Full-Zip Sweater) and was initially greeted by a nice store employee who advised that he could not find my online order and I advised him that I had the order information and then he started to check and I was interrupted by an **************** male wearing a scarf who appeared to be in his mid-late 20s who advised that the order was "rejected". I advised that I received an e-mail confirmation and that the order charge was approved by my credit card company. The **************** employee who seemed to have an attitude reiterated that the order was "rejected" because they could not find it. The **************** spoke in an unfriendly manner and did not offer me any options such as finding out what the item was and offering to check to see it was in stock and I could pay for it right away......The rude and unfriendly employee just repeated that the order must have been rejected....He is bad for DXL business because I would think that a sales associate would be focused on making a sale and not losing an opportunity to make a sale. I left and returned home and checked my order again online and the status is listed as "in process"152 *****************************************************
