I have a reservation for camping with confirmation #************, placed on January 2, 2023 for a stay arriving August 24, 2023 and departing on August 27, 2023. My credit card was respectfully charged $295.00. Unfortunately, I am unable to keep the reservation, so phoned Warrensburg Travel Park for a cancellation. In short, the representative on the phone said, "We do not allow cancellations and we already spent the reservation money cleaning up the park". I am appalled that there is not a cancellation policy. I am attaching/uploading the "Reservation Summary" which makes no reference to a "No Cancellation" policy as mentioned. In my experience facilities charge $25-40 or 10% of the reservation balance as a cancellation fee. In relation, my fiance, ***** ****, email address *********************, emailed Warrensburg Travel Park requesting a refund with respect to the above-mentioned typical cancellation fees. Warrensburg Travel Park has not returned his communication after several weeks. I, ****** *******, am requesting the BBB's assistance in respectfully resolving the request for cancellation with recognition to a fair cancellation fee as described herein.
