I hired a dumspter from this company earlier in April and have had a bad experience that I wanted to bring to your attention.I found them on ****** and if you to to their web site they quote a price of $220 "With no hidden charges". Then when you go to Book Now the next page it shows three "hidden" charges for Long Island: $18.98, NO idea what that is, Environmental Regulatory Fee: $10.82 and Fuel Recovery: $21.80 I called to ask how they could say there were no hidden charges and then give me those and they said that was the way it was and in addition there would be .12cents per pound charge when they picked up the dumpster!! In the end I had a contracter coming on a specific day so I agreed. Then they send me a contract that says they are not responsible for any damage to my property!! I thought that was ridicules with such heavy equipment to say they are not responsible. I called again and again they said basically take it or leave it. They offered that the dumpster was coming from a 3d party and they were sure that that company would have insurance if there was a problem! I was not very happy but time was an issue so I went ahead. So I paid them $276.29 with the understanding I would owe for .12 cents for the weight of the dumpster which obviously I would have no control over: I guess they can charge whatever they want: how can you dispute it?The I am now writing you because they sent ma final bill charging me $220 for 1 ton in the dumpster which is not possible: My handyman who took down the deck wall for which I needed the dumpster said even **** pounds would be a lot as we saved most of the wood for other projects. But I realize there is nothing I can do about that. But then the invoice shows the charged my credit card again for Environmental Fee and the Fuel Recovery along with a new charge called Processing Fee! I called and spoke to someone called ****: I told her that there was no suggestion of any additional charges other than the .12 cents per pound and while the amount is about $65 it is the principal of the thing that bothers me. She said she understood and would contact a supervisor who would get back to me within 3 business days and more than likely the next day to discuss an adjustment. No one called me back!So I am putting that amount in question with MasterCard as an unauthorized charge and wanted to contact your office in the hopes you agree that to say No Hidden Charges in this case is simply false and misleading and in the case of the final 3 charges not even mentioned!
