  Mr. V***** brought in a helper who stole my jewelry & some money & left the state. Mr. V***** took $700 from me to do a plumbing job. He never did the job & refuses to give me my money back. He lied about being a contractor, having a company (it's just him) & having insurance. Originally I asked him to just finish the job, but he hasn't done it so now I want my money back. I've given him 4 months to do either one & he has done nothing.

  BBB spoke to the business owner and the following was relayed: We completed the job.  She was charged accordingly and according to the invoice.  No refund is applicable.  Thank you.

  There were no invoices - nothing on paper at all.  They were supposed to replace the PVC pipes under my sink with metal ones.  James told me (many times) they were waiting for parts.  Months later he said he would still finish the work.  He took $700. from me to buy the pipes.  He just disappeared.  Meanwhile, I contacted the people who referred him to me & found out he had done the same thing to more than a few people.  He said (& had on his website) that he was a general contractor (he was not), had insurance (he does not) & is licensed (he is not) & he is in good standing with BBB (he has no standing with you).  He then took his website down.  He is bragging on ******** that he is finishing other jobs while leaving more people than just me hanging.  He is a thief.  His partner is a junkie & stole my jewelry & another $2300.  When James was in contact with me (with his endless excuses) he told me his partner also stole from him & then disappeared, so I gave him extra time, but he never got back to me & still hasn't done anything.  He is telling you a different story - after telling me many times he would finish the work that I paid for.  He is a scammer & should give me my money back so I can hire someone reputable to finish what he is refusing to do.

  I was hire to replace the sink as it was rotted and leaking. I replaced the sink and replace the plumbing to the sink as it was not correctly installed from the previous person. I used the correct piping for the sink. Days later after she looked at the sink the day I installed say thank you. She wanted metal pipes. I told her that metal pipes are hard to do as they do not sell them in kits and that it would cost her more to do it. For the accusing of not being a business is a lie. And not having insurance is a lie. Yes I did have a fall out with my business partner as I found out he was a junky. But the comment that he stole from her is a lie as she does drugs herself and was out in her garage smoking with him and sold him the jewelry. But later realized she sold him family air-looms. She is trying to replace money from her bad decisions by playing victim. I did say I would replace the pipes but not at my expense because that wasn’t agreed upon. And as for the other jobs that have all been completed. And the people are happy with the results. It did take some time to get them do do to the fact that I am one person and I had a work related accident and broke part of my foot.

  This is a picture of my plumbing.  The PVC was supposed to be replaces with metal pipes.  James took $700.00 from me to pay for the pipes. For months he has been telling me to be patient & he will do the work, but he broke his foot, the pipes hadn’t come yet, his partner left him hanging & now he was alone…He has not done the work and not returned my money.
