      We paid them on 6/6/2022to $4459.61 as a deposit. They finally started work on 6/23. We gave them another $20,634.51. And then another $10,000 on 7/27 and they never came back! I have police reports I have canceled checks. I have anything pictures anything that you would like I appreciate your help. Thank you so much.

      After being assured that they could do the work and have it completed before our company came, we decided to give them the job. The items are broken down in the attached sheets. The amount Prestige Contracting has been paid exceeds $4000.00. Storm door has to be replaced, Deck Stairs have to be corrected, Ceilings have to have a finishing coat of paint in 3 rooms, Floor needs to be done correctly, and Awning Window Operators need to be installed. Make the repairs that need to be completed correctly. See attachments

      I have reviewed the complaint and the customer hired one of my workers under the table to do the work in the complaint. I talked to the customer and advised them that it is against are policy to hire work to our guys under the table behind our backs. this has nothing to do with Prestige builders n.y and we are not responsible for any work uncompleted

      I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.  As per our phone conversation on Oct 26, 2022, I am emailing you copies of all the correspondence between the Newport’s and Prestige Builders Contracting. They are in order of the first email in June of 2022, when we began the process of hiring them. There were to be several phases for the work at our summer home. We had a deadline that was agreed on and never met. The first correspondence we had with them was at the beginning of the project in June of 2022. We have all the bank statements with proof of payments, for the front door. Windows operators were included in one of the initial payments (never installed) – (two installed, one fell off first time I tried to use it - several more to be installed and never were). There is also a picture of a workman working on the bedroom floor and one picture of the deck stairs that was not done correctly and poor quality materials. The owner Billy agreed that there had been shoddy work done when he finally came out to inspect what had been done and what was to be redone. Included are copies of payments from the ******** Bank Account that were made out to Prestige Builders Other payments were made, one to ***** $302.40 (**** card – order #*********) for the complete screen/storm door and one to **** ******* (check #*** for $648.00) for installation. These are the payments to Prestige Builders. Payment 1 June 10, 2022 - $525.83. Payment 2 June 27, 2022 - $1,156.83. Payment 3 July 1, 2022 - $1,428.50. Payment 4 July 4, 2022 - $140.15. Payment 5 July 8, 2022 - $238.26. Payment 6 July 13, 2022 - $489.24. Payments for: Door purchased from ***** in Watertown, NY – (we had to pick up at store) – $302.40 charged to **** card) and **** ******* – installation of the door $648.00, check #***. Window operators are in a separate email, deck stairs work and work on bedroom floor in separate email. There is one email sent to David W****** (email add: ********@*****.com) and one that went to Prestige Builders Contracting (email add: via **************@********.*****.********.net). Any information on the bills that include work on gutters is not part of this claim. There are two emails I will have to mail you through the post office, can’t find copies on my laptop. Will you please sent me the address for the BBB and I will get in the mail to you. This is a message that appeared when I tried to look at one of the documents “You can't message Prestige Builders Contracting because your account has been cancelled.” Thank you for your patience in this matter, if you need anything else from us please call ###-###-#### or email *************@********.com. 
      I would like to tell Billy that his company and workers are not reliable.  At the beginning of the job most projects seemed to be going as planned; then a couple of days of work he pulled his men off our job and sent them into Cape Vincent to work on a restaurant project they were also doing. This was alright, but from then on it went down hill. Missed work days, not having the necessary equipment (they had no shop vacuum, borrowed ours and we never saw it again). 

      Telling us the front door had to be ordered, there's never appeared. We ordered one, in less than a week we went to ***** and picked it up. Had to pay for the door that had no problems until their men did damage to our original door. The door never needed to be replaced, it was only the door jam that needed work. New window operators broke almost immediately after being installed, their worker said he could not get more.. Trash left in yard, we had to take it to the transfer site.

      Hired to put in a sliding door. They removed the sidding in order to install rhe door. They did not finish the job, left siding off the back of the house and have not returned. Yer theyve been paid in full. Made several calls to the company including the owner Bill and they've yet to call back or come back to finish the job and clean up.

      Hi June, thank you for leaving a review. We are disheartened to know that you are not satisfied with the service and work provided by our company, especially after the positive praise we received following the previous projects that we completed for you (which consisted of extra work that we included for you beyond the estimates as well). We do recognize that there was much back and forth regarding the sliding door/siding/deck situation. As was discussed, it was necessary to remove the siding in that area to properly install the sliding door. We also agree that it was stated that the siding should not be replaced until the deck that was discussed was complete as well, and because of this we needed to wait on a decision from you regarding the estimate that was provided for the deck before we could move forward. We do apologize for any delays in communication during this time as the company has been extremely busy, and our staff is trying to manage all ongoing projects as efficiently as possible. Once we received confirmation that you did not want to move forward with the deck at this time, we were happy to complete the job by reattaching the siding, however this was not completed at the next planned visit due to an extreme amount of dog feces in the back yard. This was discussed with your husband as needing to be cleaned before we would return to complete the project, which was agreed upon as referenced in the included message excerpt. Once that was completed we were able to properly reattach the original siding as you requested. We also apologize for your dissatisfaction with our cleanliness as we do have set protocols for cleaning up at the end of each day before the job site can be left, and we do our best to follow through with these as thoroughly as possible while projects are still in the process of being completed. We hope the best for you with all your future home improvement projects.
