The Spirit tattoo shop located in watertown made an appointment with my wife for a septum piercing. The older gentleman ken was the one who worked on my wife. My wife has had her septum pierced twice and this time she said she felt a huge amount of pain and it shot through her face. She heard and felt a crunch. Upon calling another shop they said he most likely pierced her cartilage in her nose. We then went to another shop called **** ******* ******. When we entered the lady at the front immediately told us her piercing was wrong without us saying a word. She explained how they get customers from spirit art all the time from incorrect piercings etc. I have found a prior ****** review that ken also screwed up 2 other girls piercings. I called ken and when i addressed that he pierced her cartilage and it was crooked he said he did no such thing. I asked for a refund as we now had to fix her piercing and my wife had an unpleasant experience. I was told he could redo the piercing which if he didnt do it right the first time i do not trust him to do it again. This is a dangerous person doing things incorrectly and charging people for it.Business response

As with any professional office, we do not offer refunds after a procedure has been performed. We offered to redo the procedure at no cost to the individual but they refused. Instead they went to another piercer to have it re-done. They never came back to show me that it was done wrong so I have no idea if that was actually the case. In any event, we were completely willing to redo the piercing. We have signs posted that specifically state: Absolutely No Refunds for any Procedure...... No Exceptions.Customer response

Better Business Bureau: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. I provided this picture already the top (before) being the piercing you did and the the bottom the correction by another business whom noticed right away the piercing was incorrect. You did it incorrect and injured my wife you may offer a redo but if you mess up the first time why would i trust you to touch her again? ?? no thank you. This isnt just we didnt like it scenario this is dangerous and you charge people to mutilate their face. Proper action is in order and i dont think yojr business needs to be allowed to perform piercings you can't do properly the first time. Regards, ***** *****
