Deceptive business practices to say the least. I saw the commercial on TV and called to get an estimate back in June 2023. They were quick to arrive at my home and took some measurements, gave me a quote and I let them know I would call when ready to confirm the purchase of 3 smalls windows. I called a few days later and gave confirmation to order windows. Once I did that they came back out to re-measure and I gave them the deposit and signed the contract electronically. I was quoted an install of mid to late July having placed the order in June. The middle of July came and went and no call from them. I called multiple times to the sales rep as well as the corporate office and no one even called me back. I must have called at a minimum of 5 times with no returned calls. Once I did connect with a person on the phone, I was told my order would be on the next truck. My windows didn't arrive until early August. Once they had them they called to schedule the install via the sales rep. We agreed upon September 8th, 9am. I received a text message today September 7th stating their installer had 'disappeared' and they would not have an estimated time frame for when my windows would be installed. I called the sales rep in my reply rather than texting to try and get more specific information. The sales rep didn't seem to know anything about when a future date might be available, so I asked 2 questions. 1. Can I take delivery of the windows and find my own installer? 2. Could I get a refund? The answer to both was a very quick and deliberate 'no'. After a few more minutes of verbal conversation, the sales rep actually hung up on me saying she had no more time for this. Please don't trust this company with your money or your time. To hopefully make the next persons experience better, I have reported this to both the **** *** ***** **** ******** ** ******** so that all can be aware of this company and their disreputable practices. Buyer beware for sure!!!!Review from Amanda U

Do not place your trust in this company. They are dishonorable and clueless. Oct 2021, we had windows measured and were sold on Window Town. I read some mixed reviews at that time, however we decided to give them a try. We were told delays for delivery but looking at them to arrive in February. We were familiar with shipping issues at that time. We just wanted the windows done in the Spring to put our house on the market and for better Windows for the next Winter. End of March came, and I hadn't heard, so I called. Elaine advised me they were on next truck for April. End of April no word. I called again. Elaine said they were in Utica warehouse and would be on next truck. I had to call every single month and kept getting told next month. Finally middle of July Elaine calls and asks for a Friday install. We were very excited to finally get our Windows. Even though we missed a big chunk of good season to list our home. I ripped down all the plastic from our 100 yr. old windows. Moved everything out of the way. 11 out of the 14 windows were wrong. They were all measured incorrectly. Not even close. We refused the order. Elaine was supposed to contact us with an update. Never heard from them. I called and shared our disappointment. The company had nothing to say for themselves except the new order wasn't in yet. This was a Thursday. I gave them until Monday to get in touch with us and discuss what they will do to rectify the situation. No word again. I emailed and cancelled the order. Absolutely complete waste of our time.Review from Joan R

Hands down, worst company I've ever done business with. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM WINDOW TOWN. It all started with them coming to install windows, but none of the windows were the right size because the sales guy that measured the windows didn't know how to measure windows. The contractor they hired to install my windows had to go through and physically teach the sales guy that screwed up the measurements how to measure a window properly. They attempted to install one window and broke it. Also the contractor dropped a piece of equipment on my floor and damaged it. The other 3 windows they tried to install, they did poorly and I had to pay someone to install properly. The rest of the windows were sent back as they were the wrong size and I've been waiting over 7 months now for them to arrive. They make dozens of empty promises on delivery times. I've been almost a year now with still no window delivery.Review from Steve D

I had Emylie come to my house and measure for 7 windows. She was good with selling me on Window Town and the windows. Ordered windows on 6/16/21 and Emylie guaranteed windows installed by October 2021, put half of money down on windows. October came with nothing from Window Town. Called half way through October 2021 and Jen stated COVID and windows are delayed. She gave no date for installation. November 2021 came and called and talked with Jen and asked to talk with a Supervisor and she stated she was. Gave me same excuse, COVID and windows are delayed and no installation date. December 2021 came and called and talked with Jen and windows where delivered to wrong store and it will be a few more weeks before setting installation date. January 2022 came and talked with Jen and she stated her installers have COVID, no installation date was set. On 1/24/22 Jen called and set installation date for 1/31/22 and 2/1/22. Told to moved all furniture, curtains, blinds before 1/31/22. On 1/31/22 at 8:30am Jen called and stated that the truck didn't start and needed a new battery. At 10:30 am Jen called and stated the truck had to go to the shop and installation was canceled for today and tomorrow. She stated maybe next Monday and Tuesday but she would call. On 2/7/22 I went to work and received a phone call at 9:15 am stating Window Town was at my house for installation. I proceeded to leave work and drive home. Installers stated it was a 2 day job but they completed in 1 day. Would have done a better job doing it myself. I would not recommend Window Town to anyone. Customer service is terrible after you put your deposit down. Window Town pays contractors to run their trucks and train a Window Town employee, a young adult with no training to put in your windows.Review from Jarrod B.

I ordered 16 windows and had them installed 25 April 2021. The process was a disaster that went from claiming to be installed in January and continually getting delayed till April. Now less than a year down the road an installation error has been discovered. The crew that did the install did not properly put the windows in and foam insulate the windows. I have a significance amount of frost entering in the bottom corners of the windows ruining my wood framing inside my home. The issue had not been known post install due to winter ending and the issue not becoming known. As I am in my first winter with the new windows, it is clear there is an issue. When calling Window Town to discuss the issue, I was told that it is not my problem to address on my own. I would highly recommend not using this company.Review from Nicholas D

We ordered a window in July 2021. In October we were told the window was in. A day was setup to install, they canceled the date. The next I was told by office manager that 350 windows were delivered and they cannot find my window. So how do you set a day and cancel because installer unavailable, and now say the window is buried in pile? Now I call and am promised once they find window it will be done the next day. I paid half $300+ down and the owner who resides in Watertown cannot be spoken with and the office is terrible. One excuse after another!Review from Lorrraine H

I have had no luck with this company, first complaint was the windows are letting air come in on the sides of the casing. I wasn’t aware I needed to be an installer of windows to catch this error. It show up after having the windows installed after the 1 year warranty was up. I made several calls to resolve this issue, they even sent out someone to correct this problem. once their worker told them what was wrong they didn’t want to know anything. Even had my lawyer sent a letter to see if that would help with no response. There office manager Elaine was trying her best to with no success. Now it is less than a year and I have warranty work that needs to be done and getting the run around again. I called back on September 30 to report the problem they were supposed to call me the following Monday. No call on the Monday had to call them myself on October 5 was told by Jen the new person needed a physical and the vehicle he was going to use needed to go to the shop but will call me in a week to schedule the appointment. Also she was to busy to call but was getting around to. Here it is October 25 I have placed another call and Jen the office manager tells me she has no help and are doing interviews to hire someone. My remark was you can keep on advertising the sale of windows but can’t honor your warranty. She replied it is a different department. I asked for her boss’s name and number which replied she doesn’t have one. Not getting no satisfaction from this company they are very shady. But they are quick to take your money but don’t honor their warranty. My lawyer says it will cost more money and with no guarantee of getting satisfaction. I wouldn’t even rate them at 1. What do l have to get service satisfaction?
