              ****** ****** contacted me with a estimate for a bathroom remodel ...remove old shower door reinstal new shower door remove old linoleum and dispose reinstall new linoleum estimate $1475. 9/20/23 deposit required to confirm project $885. he signed the estimate stating recieved $885 via check on 9/20/23 tentative start date 9/25 since then he has not answered my phone calls but has sent emails explaining delays to starting the project sick one week then just vague issues arose and things just kept getting backed up on 10/16/23 he sent a email stating "I'm very sorry. I can't keep putting you off any longer. I know it's frustrating to you and it's stressing me out as well. I will send a refund check this week." last email was 11/2/23 stating sending out on Saturday 11/4/23 I still have not received to date 11/10/23. I ******* him and found a complaint on **** **** from **** ******* ******* **** ** stating: ****** ******: hired him to repair my shed, gave him a deposit and he never started the job and will not give my deposit back. I’m taking him to small claims court so beware of this thief. I wish I had seen this before I hired him!

              Burned by Derick Otten and Voss & Company on two garage doors starting on 8/25/2021, which continued on through 2022 following the same script as the other complaint reviews posted here. Gave Derick a deposit and was told the doors were received in September 2021. Derick even sent a photo of some door panels. Then just a litany of intermittent phone and text silence, ending up with a medical excuse and selfie from an emergency room. Not expecting anything, but it is disturbing to see Derick's pattern is continuing as recently as November 2023. I figured he might have passed away. Just read the rest of these comments and don't have any transactions with this outfit.
