I paid Ms. Cimino money to represent me as a divorce lawyer in December of 2022. We met once to discuss the plans and there has been no follow up despite multiple emails and messages on my behalf. I requested my money a few months ago and she replied that she had to check with her billing department. I have not heard anything back since then. She continues to not respond to my communication attempts. I would like my money back so that I can work with someone who can assist me in the divorce process.

I met with Michelle on 7/12/2022 and received a one hour consultation for my divorce. I paid her $5,000 to be my lawyer. I have not heard from her since that day. As far as I know I’ve paid $5,000 for an hour long consultation. I have not had any of my messages responded to or my phone calls. This is not what I was expecting after paying thousands of dollars.Business response

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. Due to client confidentiality, I am limited in what I can say but please know that we truly pride ourselves on providing a high caliber of legal services at all times. As attorneys, we do not write the laws, and sometimes the laws do not support what potential client's are looking to gain. Unfortunately, there may be times where we are unable to accept a case, after a paid consultation, or meet every aspect of a client’s expectations.In this particular matter, we fully refunded the initial consult fee as a good faith effort to resolve this client’s apparent dissatisfaction with our firm’s position relating to her potential claims.
