I hired Joe to put my pool in because he installed a pool in 8 years ago for a friend and did a good job. I did not think to look into his background because of this. That was a big mistake! I am posting this to save people the nightmare I went through. Their are only so many characters that you can write so I am going to try and get everything in. Joe said my pool was finished and that all that needed to be done was the stairs cut out and the pool filled the rest of the way with water. I said okay and made the mistake of paying him the last payment trusting that he would come back and put the winter cover on like he said he would do. He was off to Tennessee to install pools there and was going to send a guy to cut the liner out in the morning. The guy came out to cut the liner and clearly did not know what he was doing. Not knowing much about pools I tried to help the guy and he was able to get the liner cut and the gasket in place. I found out later on you are not suppose to use an impact to tighten the pool gaskets, which the guy did and the gasket was cracked causing a leak. The water guy came and began filling the pool and had to stop because the walls were bowing so bad. I called joe and he acted like it was not a big deal and that you could just make some adjustments. That was the last time I could get ahold of Joe and he never came back. To make a long story short after hiring a new pool guy I found out the whole pool floor was messed up, ups and downs and 5 inches off from one end to the other. The sidewalls only had two bolts in them and the center drains were leaking in the deep end simply from only tightening them by hand. The pool walls were bowed so bad I thought it was going to let go without even being full. Also the liner was not set right and had to be replaced. Luckily I was able to find a great pool guy to come in and remodel my new pool. I also paid for the winter cover that I never received. This guy is a scammer! Do your research
