  My patio in the back of the house should slope away from the house towards the lawn as written in the contract. Instead, the patio is sloping towards the house, resulting in the water in my basement. I am a person with lung disease. Can not afford to have mould in my basement.

  We have been in contact with Mr. ****** and reviewed his concerns. The ground against his house on the step side of the patio has settled causing water to sit in the blocks in front of the house. We are sending a leveling company out for a quote to see if that will address the problem. We have already discussed remedy with Mr. ******. Thanks. Tina B  VP

  We are not dodging Mr. ******'s complaint. The patio has moved and shifted since installation and two blocks are slightly pitched towards the house near the step. We have caulked the perimeter and still believe it is water tight on the surface. Beacuse of that, we were trying to make sure when we do replace the patio, that his problem is solved. We suggested demo and allowing him to have time to waterproof the foundation from the outside prior to pouring to be sure. The homeowner said water is there only when ground is completly saturated.  I have called Mr **** ***** from ***** waterproofing who has given Mr. ****** 3 quotes. The patio in question was installed in 2019. ***** Waterproofing gave the following quotes (none of which were ever completed).  2017 to remove 8' of a patio. (prior to our work ever being completed).  2018 to waterproof interior and exterior of a cracked foundation wall.   October 2021 - interior drain tile work, (quote mentions nothing about patio).  We also asked Mr ****** to schedule a meeting there with Mr ***** and that wasn't welcomed. At this time, I feel we are more then fair and are really trying to solve his problem. If he believes it's only the patio, even though the quotations prove he was having water trouble prior to our work being installed, Im happy to replace the patio this Saturday. I will need to know asap as we need to place orders with our supplier. Thank You. Tina B**** VP Broad Spectrum Concrete
