On April 5th I was in a meeting working from home and noticed a weed man leaving my yard, I called Weedman and ask them why they were out and sprayed my lawn and the woman said I had asked for service. That is a lie, I had service with them two years earlier but cancelled service last year. I never called I never renewed and never asked for service. I explained this to the woman and she said I signed up on January 16th and insisted that she would cancel further visits but I needed to pay for the 1 today. I told her I refuse to pay for something I did not ask for nor sign anything for and the woman was very rude and said that she would put my account in the collections. She also said that she called and left a message the day before on my phone and because it is a landline I do not check my messages everyday.Business response

I have that this customer signed up. We did send out 2 renewal letters and also called the customer the day before we came out. The customer did not call the cancel until later in the day that the application was done. We gave them a number of opportunities to cancel. As of right now I do have the rest of the season canceled for this person.
