  Date of service: Apr 11, 2024 Amount: $ ****** Service provided: Air Duct cleaning *********** claimed to remove each vent and clean the ducts back to the air conditioner.Instead, they went into the attic and removed all the attached vents and apparently cleaned them that way.*********** person proceeded to cut all the twist ties that were attaching the vents and did not reattach new ones. The attached photos shows all these cut ties found after.I don't know if all main vents were cleaned.When completed, he showed me photos of apparently the inside of my unit and then showed me a quote on the tablet that exceeded $1,000 to clean the unit.When I asked did you clean this, the service person said no, we only clean the vents for the initial work. A blatent attempt upsell.I do not see any evidence unit opened. see photo where I have written into the dust.*********** person claimed he fixed a problem of a vent not even connected, however all vents provided cooling before service so I don't know how it would be working if not connected.He mentioned this only after I declined the initial quote and had paid the fee I was expecting.He did not show me what he fixed, nor did he show any photos of that.I was given no invoice. I had to e-sign twice. I called the office and I explained I was not happy to have received a quote for over $1,000 of additional work. When I asked for the quote they said they would not send me the quote and would not do business with me.This was never mentioned on a prior call to request this service or by the service person before cleaning that I could expect this.I wish I'd read the BBB complaints before this. The ad was seen in the Feb-Mar 2024 ***************** I contacted the magazine to report that the service was not what was advertised and that I intended to file a complaint.The upload does not work, I have photos to share.

  A company called Envirogreen, advertised on Valpak Air Duct Cleaning for $287 unlimited ducts on a single residential system. Date I called about receiving air duct cleaning service - June 23 2023 Date of the employee entered the residence to service - June 26, 2023, After insisting that the work order be sent with the pictures as promised the day before, the work order and invoice was received on June 27, 2023.Work Order # ********** for the amount $1581.19 was billed, and paid, due to the threat of a lien on our house, as they claim the service was rendered. The invoice was paid, believing they did the work, but noted that I did not see the ducts cleaned and the size of the filter we were told would be ordered was the wrong size. This lead me to inspect all the work on the work order, with the conclusion that the work was not done. The pictures sent to me was not the design on my air handler unit and the pictures and video I took of inside the air handler unit was fill with dirt, mold and pieces of metal tape. the ducts were also filled with dust. After reaching out several times, requesting full refund and they verbally apologizing and saying they will give me a full refund, nothing has happened. I have not received my full refund and I am still with a very dirt and mold filled ducts and Air handler unit.My check was cashed the same day, and It is now since July 5, that I request a refund, with pictures that are location and dated showing all that I was billed for was not done. Please help me get my full refund.

  Customer was emailed by manager on 7/15 to confirm a refund check for the full amount would be mailed out on the following Monday (7/17) or Tuesday (7/18). Customer has not responded to email in any way indicating any issue.

  I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# ********, and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

  I have not received or seen an email from Envirogreen, if I did I would have said yes to the full refund that I have been requesting. This is since I inspected the job and found that I still had very dirty ducts and moldy air handler unit, that they said was cleaned.

  I engaged Envirogreen to clean my dryer vent on April 19, 2023.I attempted to communicate via text message, on 05/09/2023 for technician (*********************, tel. no. **************), regarding Job # **********., and via email, on 05/11/2023 to both emails listed on Envirogreen's website **************************************************** and ****************************************************** regarding a dangerous situation that was the result of incomplete work.On May 8, 2023, two ******** firefighters were outside my condo. One took a picture of the exterior vent, and immediately showed and informed me that this is a fire hazard. I was quite shocked to see a substantial amount of lint protruding from the exterior dryer vent, especially since Envirogreen just serviced my dryer less than 3 weeks prior. I initially considered affording Envirogreen the opportunity to come, again, and properly clear the vent, at no charge to me; however, noting the status of their only email boxes being full, and the results of the work performed April 19, 2023, I no longer trust them and am seeking a full refund ($150.64) for leaving my property at risk for fire, especially being it is a wood structure.
