I sent my nanny to buy a cake to Coco bakery, she came back upset because she had a really bad experience with the sales persons at the place. She picked a cake, and they took inside, supposedly to put fruits on top. After about 15 minutes, she asked for the cake and the woman yelled at her saying they were putting fruits and to look around she was not the only customer. To this, my nanny got the cake and got the receipt, she looked at the receipt and she realized they were overcharging her, the cake she picked was 30 and they charged her 45, she told the woman the discrepancy and also told her to ask a customer if she wants a bag, to not just add its cost to the bill. The woman was rude and upset and she came back with a receipt, to this my nanny nicely asked her if itll be return to the credit card, the woman yelled at her and pushing the the receipt on the counter said in a loud tone of voice read it, my ***** told her to be nice as shes paying and not begging. This is not the end of the story.When we cut the cake, 2 pieces for my daughters and one for me, when I tasted it, the cake was spoiled, it was bad, so I threw the pieces in the garbage. I think the ***** minutes they took the cake inside the kitchen was to moist the cake with condensed milk or something, but it was a really bad taste. I called the bakery and they asked me to bring the cake and I did, thinking they will give me a refund. The woman an another older woman, with really bad aspect (she looked dirty) looked at the cake and with a bad attitude she told me I ate the cake, I was in shock, then I explained that I had to cut 3 pieces, she then tried the cake and she told me I was lying, she looked at the receipt and said she knew my nanny bought the cake and complained, at this point I knew I was dealing with uneducated people, they even told me to go back home and bring the cake from the garbage, and with an attitude and nasty loud voice they told me,Customer response

Better Business Bureau:
At this time, I have not been contacted by Coco Choco Bakery regarding complaint ID ********. They completely ignore their customers. I can believe that when I first complained they asked me to go back with the cake just to tell me they dont do exchange or refund, and they kept my $30+tax. I havent heard from them at sll.

Purchased a cake for my birthday. That upon cutting it that evening the cake was spoiled. Called in to return the cake as it was un eatable. The staff was very rude and would Not refund or replace the cake. In fact asked us to leave and not return because we were toxic. Very rude customer service as well as serving items that are fermentedCustomer response
