I bought a 2025 jeep grand ******** limited from this dealership. Spent over ***** USD. After buying the vehicle, I returned to *****, ******* to my duty station where I am currently stationed with the *******. Upon me receiving the vehicle, I noticed a squeaking/creaking sound coming from the right rear side of the vehicle. I didnt think nothing of it. Fast forward on the way down to *******. I noticed that the front speaker/defroster part in the dashboard was sticking out and not properly placed. I made an appointment for service with the local dealership in *******, to have this part looked at, which was replaced. As soon as I left the dealership, the part is still not properly fixed, the service advisor at the local dealership in ***** informed me that the entire dashboard needed to be replaced in order to correct the issue, which I am awaiting to bring the vehicle in for. Also, the squeaking sound that was coming from the right rear of the vehicle happened to be a lose bolt on the rear right shock of the vehicle which was clearly missed upon by the individuals who completed inspection of the vehicle prior to sale. This is a massive liability and outright dangerous mistake that is unacceptable. When I reached out to the dealership to correct the issue. Both the service manager and the store manager were not receptive to helping me out. Instead they told me to figure out a way to bring the car to ******** on your own. I was sold a vehicle with a lose bolt on the rear right shock shock and a plethora of issues that keep on occurring. I have had the vehicle for less than 30 days and it has less than 1300 miles at this time and the dealership refuses to acknowledge their wrongdoings and help in any way shape or form. They refused to even help me find a solution or a common ground for me to have the vehicle sent back to **. This vehicle is a liability for the safety of my family. I have a 3 year old daughter that I do not feel safe putting in the vehicle.

    Better Business Bureau:

At this time, I have not been contacted by Tasca Chrysler Dodge White Plains regarding complaint ID ********. I reached out to corporate regarding the issue and I was able to have all the issues resolved with the vehicle through corporate. However, the dealership listed in the complaint refused to acknowledge any responsibility regarding selling me a vehicle with a loose bolt in the suspension after performing a vehicle inspection before the sale. The dealerships service manager as well as sales manager were extremely unprofessional and outright disrespectful regarding the issue.

    Sincerely,

    Hello *********************************,

We are very sympathetic to the situation you have had with your current vehicle, and we have worked diligently in attempting to resolve the situation to your satisfaction. As you are aware your vehicle arrived to us on a flatbed but was able to be started at time of arrival. We have run various tests, and test drives exceeding 70 total miles while not being able to duplicate any concern with the vehicle. We were advised by the manufacturer technical assistance center that if we are unable to duplicate the concern the case is being closed, this was as of 12-21-23. We have since continued driving and testing the vehicle with no fault being duplicated. All that being said you are our customer, and we want you to be satisfied, hence why we have allowed you to continue to drive one of our loaner cars even after the Jeep corporate has stated we have done could have possibly done in trying to recreate the situation.  I would think the next logical step would be to set up a day and time to come in and meet with us to review the various options you have available to you.  Please advise as to when would be most convenient for you.

    Regards,

    *******

I recently discovered an unauthorized inquiry on my credit report dated [Jan. 03, 2023]. I did not give consent for this inquiry and have no prior dealings with the business in question. I have contacted the creditor regarding this matter, but there has been no response from their side. Please investigate and remove it from my credit report promptly.

    Hello,

After doing our research we were made aware that the dealership employee ******************* is the person who ran ********************** credit on 1/3/23.  After meeting with ************** to discuss the matter, he stated he knows ****************** and that he is a previous customer who wanted to get a new vehicle.  ***** stated that ******* was advised by a credit repair agency to make these false statements about us and other business' in an attempt to "sweep his credit clean".  If ****************** would like to come to the dealership to discuss with me further, it would be appreciated.

    Regards,

I apologize for the delay in responding, the link was not connecting for me.  The vehicle is 14 years old and it is very difficult to source parts for a vehicle that age. With the concern be a warranty that was provided by a manufacturer that no longer owns Chrysler Jeep Dodge nationwide is adding to the difficulty in resolving.

May 10,2022- ********************* Date February 11, 2023 I complained about feeling unsafe in my car because my steering wheel was trembling a lot and I feel like I have no control of my car while driving. The service department reported that the steering damper needs to be replaced and the part is on backorder and will take 4 weeks. It's been more than 4 weeks and I have been paying for a car payment without using my Jeep because I feel unsafe. I made a complaint and they provided me with a case number (#********) I was told a case manager will contact me 3 to 4 business days. The case manager never reached out to me, I called in and spoke to her, (3/9/23) she listened and told me she would call me in 4 business days. Once again no phone call received from the case manager. Today 3/20/23 I call in to speak to a supervisor, none are available. I called the dealer, left a voicemail for ***** the car sales manager, then called again spoke to a manager named **** and he said theres nothing that can be done because they only receive one steering damper a week and I just need to wait. Why do I need to be responsible for a car payment? ... when I can not enjoy my car because is not safe to drive. I got into two scary scenarios while driving the car and lost total control. I have a police report, reporting a panic attack I had while driving to work. I would like to return the car and receive my money back. It has been a horrible experience with Jeep. Jeep has not considered my well being and I have been paying money to borrow cars and have made 2 monthly payments with no benefit of use of my Jeep. My next step is file a complaint with ****** and *********, under the ******** Lemon Law to receive my money and buy a reliable car that I can drive and feel safe. A car can not drive with out a steering wheel and the control of its front wheels, how is it possible that they expect a customer who is paying close to $800 a month financing to just sit tight and wait.

Hello please see below from our service manager:

***************************, brought in their vehicle for service on February 11th 2023 for an oil change and a concern of vehicle having vibration while driving over rough roads. Tasca CDJR White Plains diagnosed the vehicle to need a steering damper replacement, the part is on a backorder status with no ETA from Stelantis at this time. Customer has been advised of this fact and the fact of the dealership having no authority in replacing their vehicle. A request for a replacement vehicle has been submitted to corporate for approval at this time and customer will be updated once information is received.

    Better Business Bureau:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# ********, and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

A replacement vehicle shouldve been provided when I addressed my concerned and it was determined by the Tasca ******************  that the steering damper needs to be replaced. How long will a replacement vehicle take for me to have, why didnt they put in a request 2 months ago when I went in? Who will help me out with all these payments I have made towards a Jeep that is not drivable?

    Better Business Bureau:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# ********, and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because

I received a response on Tuesday 4/11/22, the responses stated I was going to be contacted within 48 hrs for a rental. Its Monday 4/17/23 and I have not yet received any phone call or message in regards to the rental. I understand that there is limitations to what a dealer or the service department can do but it is their response to rely the message to whoever needs to approve immediate assistant for a customer who has months without use of a brand new 2022 car while making payments due to manufacture errors. This has been the worst experience I have had with a car.

I brought my car in on 9/5/2022 my 2008 jeep liberty has the maximum care lifetime warranty which I purchased from White Plains Jeep in 2008. In my paperwork, it clearly shows that the oil pan is covered under the warranty. In the exclusions to coverage it says clearly if the car was damaged or altered (my was not) it voids the warranty. The representative at jeep said that it is not covered because of rust. The only reference to something not being covered by rust is when it speaks about the outside (exterior) of the car. When I asked the service rep why the oil pan would fail, he said due to rust or if it was damaged. I said so why isn't' it covered; he didn't know - only said when he puts in rust it says it isn't covered. Clearly this should be covered as Jeep is still advertising that the maximum care warranty covers the oil pan on their website as of today. The oil pan is supposed to be fully covered and the things that aren't covered have nothing to do with rust. See the attached photos of my contract and maximum care information from 2008 and the maximum care that is being advertised now. If this is not covered, they are clearly trying to scam the consumer, which I am pretty sure that this would be considered illegal. Not only do they not want to cover any repairs under the warranty, when they actually do they take weeks to repair it under a warranty that they used/and still use to get people to buy their cars. I want to company to honor the warranty I purchased. I understand that I am a rare consumer that still has the lifetime warranty, but they should be ethical and honor it. We have purchased 4 vehicles from White Plains Jeep and would most likely return to purchase another soon.
