This is a laundromat that I originally went to the week of May 22nd. Cannot recall the exact date because I have a new phone. One of their washers had an issue to which I had to spend an additional $5.75. I called the owner to which they mentioned they would send out a check. It is now June 19th with no check in sight. Since the original issue I have tried to reach out on 4 separate occasions to which I have received no answer. Again on June 19th I was drying my clothes this time around. I spent $3.00 to which my clothes have not dried at all, causing me to spend another three dollars. I called the business phone because there is never anyone in the laundromat to address these concerns. The business phone is now stating that the phone is not in service, so I tried calling another number associated with the business to which I again, received no answer. Response to complaint (ID ********) from EZ Wash Laundromat. The incident described in the customer's letter has been resolved; a refund has been sent to the customer in the amount outlined in the letter. The initial phone call about the complaint was received, wherein it was communicated to the customer that she would receive a refund for monies that she had spent using one of the washers. As the customer did not have an electronic payment method available for us to instantly send a refund, her name and mailing address was taken. A check was then made out for the previously mentioned amount and was sent via mail to the mailing address provided to us. Bank records show the refund check that had been sent to the customer was never cashed. The dryer incident that the customer outlined in her letter is separate from the aforementioned incident regarding the washer. Customer states that she had tried to call various phone numbers to contact someone about the incident. The business itself has been recently purchased, and change to ownership has required new owners to use new business numbers, email addresses, etc. It is possible that the customer had tried to contact a previously used phone number for the business, and therefore would not have been able to reach anyone, as that number would have been discontinued. Nevertheless, our business was never made aware of this additional complaint from the customer.
