My wife and I had our kitchen remodeled by Salmon Creek and the cabinets are high quality however their customer service and supervision of their subcontractors is less than desirable. The first drywaller they sent in for patching and soffit work was unprofessional and did an aweful job and had to send another contractor finish affecting dates for granite. No supervision to the electrician and plumber and us questioning things led to this response from the owner. They refuse to call and only text. Make your own conclusions. "In response to the text messages earlier I feel the need to clarify a few things so we are on the same page. Most importantly, we are not working as a general contractor. As stated in the beginning of the project, we have electricians, plumbers, drywallers, and painters, that we work with. This does not mean that you need to use these contractors, they are only available if you wish to. This is really what sets us apart from general contractors where you typically hire them and they use there own contractors without exception. I do recall on several occasions stating you were free to use your own electrician and drywaller since you had already contracted someone for the rest of the house. In any event, we assist with the scheduling of these contractors to make the job run smoothly, but when it comes to the work they provide, this is a discussion between them and the homeowner. The reason for this, is that in addition to the floor plan and needs for the appliance relocation etc, the homeowner is in control of where other aspects such as, how much and location of ceiling lighting, Cabinet lighting, switch location, dinners, etc. In addition, many homeowners decided to add electrical in other areas or update existing. For this reason, it is important for the homeowner and electrician to discuss electrical layout and plans to be sure nothing is missed. We are always available to the homeowner and electrician/ plumber for questions as needed."
