On August 7, 2021, we were supposed to have my wedding at Crest Hollow, but due to Covid in the months leading up to the big day, we've been in contact with ********. At the time the state was only allowing groups of ***************************** regards to what we can do. On a phone conversation with ********, she gave us pricing regarding the group of 50 people plus open bar package which was almost the same amount as 100 people around $11,000. When we reached out to her via email following her recap of the conversation she brushed off our concerns about the pricing for 50 people being around the same amount as 100. Also, she mentioned the enhancement we would get but wouldn't go into detail about what that means. She kept mentioning the cancellation policy that says no refund due to a list of reasons including an act of God. Any reasonable person would agree that an act of God is a weather event and not a pandemic. We received no straightforward answers to our concerns so we had to cancel the reception at Crest Hollow. When we ask for a refund, we were told the only way to get one was if they rebooked the space on the same day as our event, but when we called to see if anyone booked the space we were left in the dark.
