      On November 13, 2023, I emailed *****, the Senior Team Leader for Historic Newspapers about how I was having trouble with the payment portion of their website. On November 20, 2023, I was finally able to make a purchase. I was brought to the confirmation page one time on the website. They sent me two confirmation emails and charged me for the same product twice. I only want one product. I reached out again November 21, 2023 to ***** about how their website double charged me for the same product. She refused to refund the money on a mistake made by their website. I would like a full refund for one of the products of $101.92.

      Please see attached the communication we had with the customer, along with their email confirmations.  The customer confirmed that she did receive 2 email confirmations, however waited 10 hours to contact us regarding this.  As these items are personalized, once production has begun, we are not able to cancel orders.  Had the customer emailed when she received both emails, we could have cancelled the order.  As you can see from the communication with the customer, on this occasion we have advised that if she returns one of the books to us, on receipt we will refund her for the order.  We did not hear from the customer after this.

      Date of the transaction was on 2/8/2022. The amount of money paid the business is $89.98 The business committed to provide me is to provide an excellent customer service and offer fantastic gifts. I purchased *********** Rams Newspaper Book through online last night on 2/8/2022 at 9:25pm. This is an item you could customize. When I checked my email for confirmation right after I purchased it, I noticed that the part where it says "presented to" says it is for myself. This is supposed to be a gift for my boyfriend and I entered his info under that but for some reason it says my name instead. I do not know what went wrong. I called right away but they are not open until the next day. I sent an email right away to try to fix this. I called and spoke with ****** early in the morning on 2/9/2022 at 6:14am to change the name and she said that it's already in the production, it can't be changed and i can just purchase another book for a discounted price. She was very adamant and unwilling to help me fix this. I did what I could to contact this business and to change the part where it says "presented to" but their customer service is not available to help me and now they are asking me to pay more by getting two books. I do not believe this is how it should work. It is not right for them to take the customer's money when a customer tried to do the best that she could to fix the problem and their customer service line is not available. The order# is **********
