      The "mechanic" proprietor, *********************, of this business charged me a premium amount (below) to have six piston heads machined as part of an engine rebuild for my car. After this work, last month, it became clear to me that the car's engine was no better than it was before, and in some ways worse. I was able to find out the name of the machinist who was supposedly hired by ****** to do this work and the machinist clearly proved to me he never worked on my engine parts [This is ***** at *************************, *******************************************************]. ****** demonstrably lied that he had my piston heads machined. ****** has not responded (rationally) to my demands that he refund the machinist's completely phony fees. I intend to approach the ** with this matter given the large sums involved.

      I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# ********, and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

      I received the business' response Monday morning it is now Friday afternoon and have left messages for P&T Auto every day. My calls have not been returned. The proprietor, *********************, is a thief and a liar on the scale of grand larceny. The facts: I was charged $1300.00 for a "Valvetronic Seal Kit" and a *** expert at an accredited, highly regarded shop, ****** Motors, showed me that my engine, a *** N-54 model, cannot utilize ************ so P&T scammed me completely here. ****** also found that a new "transfer box" for which I paid $1400.00 was not new at all. Worse, I paid $5,840.00 for a "Custom Exhaust System" supposedly purchased from ********************** (************ in Ramapo, **) but when ****** put my car on the lift, there was no new exhaust system AT ALL -- it is the original from ***! ********************** has confirmed the "*********************" is not a customer and has not purchased such a kit from them. Nor did he perform "calibration" there for $400 on September 14th. These thefts are in addition to the charges of $10,600 reported in my original complaint that was supposedly for machining my pistons, camshaft, etc., at ************************* (*******************************************************) that ***** himself confirmed was never done by him. In fact ***** said ****** hadn't hired him since April and has not appeared since.

      The behavior of P&T Auto is utterly criminal and ****** belongs behind bars. Hopefully, he will not cheat or steal from other customers and will not be able to do further harm to innocent victims.

      Hello and good evening 

      Again it is  very unfortunate that we are experiencing this issue ,with you

      However In response to your complaint ,

      We have reached out to you on  several occasions to address and discuss your  open bills with us, as well your questions or concerns. You have not responded to any attempts to  us reaching out.

      The machinist  confirmed with us, that he explained to you, that he did not work on your engine ,but only on the engine head itself.

      ***** tells us, that he did not tell you, that he did not do any machining on your parts.

      ***** has also tried reaching out to you to address this discrepancy, With no response from you  as well.

      Additionally 

      We have not had your exhaust system replaced ,only your exhuast *regulators ,which were purchased from BNB auto sales in the Bronx.

      We also replaced the turbos which were purchased from *** ,which you  are were aware of ,(which you have those receipts for and we still have not been paid for )

      We have had a relationship many years, with ******** standard and do not have an account with them under that name,nor do they preform "calibrations".

      We have not replaced your transfer case,

      But did rebuild your transmission which we still have yet to have been paid for as well,

      in addition to  the rest of the repairs that have been preformed over the last few months , which you were also given parts  receipts for.

      As much as we appreciate  ,value  and respect our fellow repair shops, ****** does not offer service that  specializes in foreign cars.

      While we are sure  they offer great service, we  are aware of this because  We have had many clients who  have  come to us from their shop for that reason.

      This is again very sad  unfortunate and very hard to believe.

      And We would appreciate payment for our services  ,as well as for you to not continue to defame us in the manner in which you are.

      There are obviously misunderstandings about  ************..however that does not entitle you to not pay for your services.

      Alot of money, time and effort have been put into your vehicle and that is utterly  a disgrace as well, especially to go as far as you've gone.

      We have reached out with no response and  ,ultimately have not been able to address any issues and/or correct any misunderstandings.

      Sadly there is nothing we can offer ************* at this time

      Except our apologies  for the miscommunication and /or "misunderstandings".

      and  again would still appreciate payment for our services .

      The lies in the response provided by P&T Auto are astounding. What is not an outright lie is blatantly contradictory. First, P&T writes:
      We have reached out to you on several occasions to address and discuss your open bills with us, as well your questions or concerns. You have not responded to any attempts to us reaching out.
      This claim is completely false. P&T has my phone number and mailing address, and I have received zero communication, and no replies from them responding to my phone messages, let alone a bill. All previous transactions were cash, as demanded by the mechanic *********************. Then, P&T claims:
      The machinist confirmed with us, that he explained to you, that he did not work on your engine but only on the engine head itself. ***** tells us,that he did not tell you, that he did not do any machining on your parts. ***** has also tried reaching out to you to address this discrepancy, With no response from you as well.
      This statement is not even logical. If the machinist worked on the engine heads, why did he supposedly tell me he did not do machining on your parts ?? Truth is, I spoke to ***** himself, of *******************, **********************************************************, on 11/6/23 and he said and was willing to sign an affidavit if necessary that ****** had not spoken to him nor brought any work to him at all since last April, and furthermore had stiffed ****** several thousand dollars, and refuses to take ****** calls asking for payment.

      P&T writes:
      "We have not had your exhaust system replaced ,only your exhuast *regulators ,which were purchased from BNB auto sales in the Bronx.We also replaced the turbos which were purchased from *** ,which you  are were aware of ,(which you have those receipts for and we still have not been paid for )"

      Really! ****** told me to my face that he replaced the exhaust system, for which he was paid over five thousand dollars. I never received a single receipt from P&T although I had asked many times. I would very much like to see these so-called receipts mentioned above! Especially from BNB Auto Sales. P&T also writes:
      "We have had a relationship many years, with ******** standard and do not have an account with them under that name,nor do they preform "calibrations".
      Another contradiction. Furthermore, ********************** (150 Route 17,Ramapo, **) told me last month it has not done any work for P&T Auto or ******, for which I paid ****** $400.00

      P&T again:
      "We have not replaced your transfer case, But did rebuild your transmission which we still have yet to have been paid for as well,"
      The mechanics at *********************** on 11/15/23 showed me that the cars transmission is the original, and actually is in very bad shape in fact, the transmission warning light comes on if the car accelerates vigorously. Just get in my car and turn it on, and you will hear / feel horrible noises and vibrations.This lie is particularly heinous as P&T left my car a hazard to drive. I also paid P&T a fortune for rebuilding the transfer case, and it was not done.

      P&T's lies continue:
      "in addition to  the rest of the repairs that have been preformed over the last few months , which you were also given parts receipts for."
      Never have I received any receipts from these people, just more and more prevarications.Furthermore, while supposedly servicing my car, ****** drove my vehicle all over the *** area (e.g., Brooklyn, ****** Park in the Bronx, etc., and stuck me with his parking tickets to the tune of over a thousand dollars! Because its my license on the car, I had to pay them (receipts attached). While ****** was joyriding (hundreds of miles on the odometer attest to this) in my car, P&T gave me a loaner that was a defective ****** van that broke down on I-287 by Exit 6 on the morning of 8/15/23, endangering my life and those of many other motorists.

      P&T tries to discredit real mechanics:
      "As much as we appreciate  ,value  and respect our fellow repair shops, ****** does not offer service that  specializes in foreign cars."

      Well ****** Motors is literally up the road from my home, and every day the firm is working on tons of German, Japanese, Korean, ******* ******** etc.,vehicles. Another lie from P&T.

      P&T continues,
      "While we are sure  they offer great service, we  are aware of this because  We have had many clients who  have  come to us from their shop for that reason."

      This makes no sense at all.

      "And We would appreciate payment for our services  ,as well as for you to not continue to defame us in the manner in which you are. There are obviously misunderstandings about  ************..however that does not entitle you to not pay for your services. Alot of money, time and effort have been put into your vehicle and that is utterly  a disgrace as well,especially to go as far as you've gone."
      Yes, this is a disgrace, to put it mildly: to bilk me tens of thousands of dollars and leave my car a wreck that according to the real mechanics at ****** Motors wont last more than one or two months! I have therefore had to purchase another car rather than pouring more money into this horrible situation.

      P&T again:
      "We have reached out with no response and  ,ultimately have not been able to address any issues and/or correct any misunderstandings. Sadly there is nothing we can offer ************* at this time Except our apologies  for the miscommunication and /or "misunderstandings".


      To call all these lies on the part of P&T miscommunication that warrant apologies is nauseating. I want my money back.

      09/17/23 -first payment made totaling $400. 09/25/23 -second payment made totaling $400. $800 total as of today. Business committed to provide necessary repairs in swift timing. Nature of the dispute is to expose this unprofessional, scam of a business for what it is receive a refund of $800, and to receive financial compensation for the damage this exchange has caused on myself and my family. The local precinct is aware of these guys habits, as is the local civil court. The business has not tried to resolve the problem. The owner got hostile unjustifiably, using vulgar language directed at me, saying Im disrespectful for sending a text to his wife at 6 in the morning. **** also stated the work would be terminated after I sent one text message at 6:44 AM 10/01/23 to his wife. I am to pick up the car as is unfinished at the original location (********************) on 10/02/23 and I am to pay the remaining $1800 up front upon pickup. I was also accused of taunting his wife, whom is his business partner, when I was simply asking for the most basic information I as a customer and ***********, such as the location of my car (the shop it was in) and the receipts of parts that were purchased. I refuse to pay a ***** more to this guy, and demand that I get my car back so that I can get repairs started on my vehicle after a month of no progress.

      We have resolved the concern and complaint directly with the customer 

      Since the last we had spoken with the B.B.B

      We had a pleasant and amicable  conversation with ******************

      ***************** had followed through with the original agreement to repair his vehicle and follow through with payment arrangements as agreed.

      ***************** did not have any questions concerns or complaints at that time.

      ***************** has also been  made aware of his responsibility to maintain specific maintainance of his vehicle in oder to properly maintain his vehicle and avoid the need of any  unnecessary future repairs.

      As of 10/28/23 ***************** has NOT contacted us in reference to any concerns about his vehicle although he says he has .This is the first time we are being made aware.

       

      We would be more than happy to address any of ********************* concerns.

      However the issues you are describing are unrelated to the repairs we preformed .

      Unfortunately it is your obligation (Although your personal right as customer and we do apologize that you feel that way) to return to the original service provider to over look and address any issues related to the repairs they preformed *if necessary .

      Additionally it is also your responsibility to read and understand any notes and  disclaimers in your invoice 

      Because as per your disclaimer we are only responsible for the repairs  which we preformed.

      Additionally some of the issues you described were also noted on your invoice and brought to your attention during the initial inspection.

      Please note that charging a dead battery does not indicate that you have any issues with your battery unless explicitly specified.

      We  cannot provide any additional resolutions to this complaint at this time if the customer refuses to allow us to.and or untill we determine what the issue is and wether or not we are responsible.
