e hired Carlo to completely redo our driveway and walkway back in February of 2022. We decided on Carlo after other companies because his price was the best of $12,000. Our concerns that it was too cold to do the work were dismissed and said it can be done. As the work began we could see the ground was too wet but he said it will be fine and that is why specific equipment could not be used to do the job but he still continued to do the work and said it would be fine. Long behold the weather was freezing and snowed. Attached are many awful pictures of the completed work. We did call him back to complain and he came with a bucket, some black top and a blow torch to fill spots try and blend the holes. Our final attempt Carlo said he would save our number and come back in the Spring and try to make it smooth. Long behold that never happened. Sadly, there was nothing we can do to recoup our money as Carlo did not provide a contract to the work and he was paid cash. As you can see from the photos the cementing between the blue stone looks like my child did it. The stones wobbled when you walked on them. He also did not purchase enough new stone but charged us for all of it and used pieces of the old cracked stone. The driveway looked worse after Carlo claimed to have redone it. Should have stuck with the driveway we had prior. This is not a professional company. They did not provide the completed job that was paid for and had a careless attitude to remedy the mistake. If he was a true professional he would have known that ground was not the correct temperature to complete the job in February. Please spare yourselves the additional financial burden we had to endure because of this awful work done by Paramount Pavers.
