On May 2nd I had an estimate to repair my ac. It needed an ac repair kit with cost 149.99 and a dye marker ti check where the leak was. The total was 180.00. I wanted to write a check and the owner of the business stated he only wanted cash because "small jobs like mine he doesn't claim on his business because he didn't wNt to pay the taxes" i gave him 180.00 in cash. He sent me a picture the next day of a stock picture of a repair kit he said he ordered. After numerous cancelations I asked for the kit or my money back and he stated he would be down the next day at 3pm. He texted me at work and stated he needed to be here early and it would be at 130. I immediately called my friend to go to my house which he did and he never showed. When I called him inquiring where he was he said he was here and gone. Needless to say he never showed and still won't refund my money.. he also sent pictures of my house that he stated were from the day he did the repair and it was a Google earth picture from at least 3 yrs ago. I just want my 180.00 dollars back.Business response

I installed a can of leak seal which is actually a leak repair kit I also installed one and one half pounds of R22 refrigerant cuz her unit was a little low. I did arrive about a half hour early and I called her and let her know that I was going to be a bit early when I got through I called her back and told her that I was done and I left the disconnect turned upside down in the off position so she would know I was there. She said she had a friend of her on her way there to meet me why I don't know I know she was very rude and mean person and I had no idea why her friend was coming there to meet me I told her that I was done and that I had a few other calls and I was in a hurry to get the day over and I had to go. She got upset why I don't know because the job was completedCustomer response

I am rejecting this response because:
My friend was already at my house. I knew he was going to pull this because of the way he canceled numerous times. I also pulled footage from my cameras and the neighbors cameras and he was not at my residence. He caused my thermostat to malfunction when he came the first time. He did not do the work. As stated above my friend was already here and did not show. I advise anyone considering his so called company to avoid it at all costs. Because in the end I had to replace my entire system which cost $11,000.Business response

That'is a total lie, I have text messages asking me if could go back because her friend was on his way. And she even said what type of vehicle he would be driving. When I left the system was working fine. Her house is not that big. There is no way a system for that house would cost $11,000. That is a total lie. Produce the receipts and the company who installed a unit for $11,000 there is no air conditioning unit for residential service for a house that size that would be that much.

The business stated he was told that the guy was 10 minutes away. That he would be driving a maroon jeep. No one was there while he was there working. He stated that it's all in text messages that are readily available for the BBB to review.

I am rejecting this response because:
never once did i tell him what my friend would be driving. I had a new ac unit ND furnace put in and it WAS 11,000. If he wants receipts tell him to show up to court. As this is in small claims. Look at his track record. He has other complaints against him. For the same issue. And my friend was there. He will testify under oath in court.
