This company is billing me for services I did not ask or contract for. I was working with *********************************** of Liberty Mowing and Landscaping. I cancelled by service of mowing for 2022. After going into the hospital for emergency surgery I called ************************************* and asked him to mow grass May and June of 2022 until I recovered, *********** told me at that time he had moved to ********************** Brothers. I paid the bill to ********************** Brothers for those two month and asked for *********** to stop the mowing. I signed no agreement with ********************** Brothers but they kept coming out even into early 2023 at least two times.. I received an invoice for $760 dollars for service I did not contract for.Received a call from a Jacob ********************** a couple months ago who was very rude and would not discuss any type of resolution and threatened to place a lean on this property. He would not answer calls or agree to a meeting.I believe this company took advantage of me as a senior and medical patient. I am asking for this invoice and any lean placed to be removed as I did not contract for this service. Is this considered trespassing?

      Hello

We would love to resolve this issue.  While many of the items identified in the complaint are based in a degree of facts the presentation perspective of much of the situation is false.  **************** did in fact hire our service for the season.  We DO NOT offer temporary service for any of our clients. We fulfilled our obligations and sent invoices regularly.  While Clients do from time to time cancel services for a multitude of reasons **************** did not at any time do so. Our office made over 20 attempts to reach him and rectify unpaid balances. He clearly knew the lawn was being cared for as we arrived weekly to provide service.  ONLY after legal action was taken did he respond to our communications.  I personally called and left voicemails that were unanswered until legal action was in process. Once **************** realized we were serious about collecting the debt owed he responded in writing acknowledging the debt and offered to pay.  I provided in writing a repsonse to him which he refused to pay.

We did in fact have a conversation and it did not go well. I offered to start over in effort to resolve the situation.  **************** informed me NOT to ever come on his property again and that he was filing a police report for trespass.  In accordance with ORC we acknowledged this notice and have not been to the property since that date. One of his comments in particular during our conversation was " its only $700 why do you even care?" He then sent a message alluring to harming our reputation ( which he is attempting now)

**************** did inform me that he was in the hospital and that was the reason he had not paid his bill.  We are certainly understanding of this.  We delayed collections until it became clear that he was avoiding paying his debt being unaware of his condition we certainly could not be taking advantage of him. We merely were working doing what was requested of us. **************** is actively employed and according to his Voice Mail is a financial advisor.  He is in no way incapacitated mentally as would preclude him from working in this field. WE CATEGORICALLY OBJECT TO ACCUSATIONS OF MISCONDUCT OF ANY KIND ON OUR PART.  These claims are false and are grounds for slander.

In summary, **************** has in fact hired our services and avoided paying for them.  Additionally, in writing, he has offered to pay this debt now that he "realizes" who we are.  We request payment in full for services rendered without further disparagement.  We further request that the complaint be dismissed as it appears to be an attempt to harm our reputation.

We are happy to discuss this matter further should you need to.

      Thank you.
