This moving company was being utilized by a neighbor. This company drove into my father's driveway and tore down the telephone line off of my dads house. The company left the wire dangling from the road onto the driveway. They did not call the telephone company or make a report of this incidence or reach out regarding this. I had to reach out to my neighbor to gather information regarding the company causing this incident. This incidence occurred in mid June. The claims manager *** came out to the site after reaching out to the company. He stated that he would get quotes to fix the damage. Well over a month later the damage is still present on the house, and through multiple contact attempts and talking to employees of the company I have not received information on what they're doing to fix the damage to the house. As of today, I had a police report filed and reached out to my insurance company for next steps.

About mid January 2023, I scheduled with Two Men and a Truck to move me on 1/31/2023 (Order Number #**************). At that time, they requested a $440 good faith deposit to schedule the move; I obliged. On 1/31/2023, due to various reasons, I had to cancel the move. At 6am I called and left a message informing them of the need to cancel. I called back twice and left two more messages. At around 8am, I received a call back confirming cancellation and informing me a refund would be issued. Fast forward 2 weeks, I had not yet received the refund. I reached out and spoke with ******* *****, ********* ****** and the ***** branch manager *** (last name unknown). After much discussion, *** finally agreed to refund $220 of the $440. I was asking for $340 of it back because no services were rendered and the movers did not come out to my location. Although they "request" a 72 hour notice of cancellation, it does state anywhere that no refund will be given if cancelled with shorter notice. I was willing to part with $100 to compensate them for scheduling arrangements but they refused the gesture and held firm on the 50% refund. I am now requesting a refund for the remainder of the deposit which is $220. The lack of communication, lack of transparency and lack of professional customer service has left a detrimental impression on me and I will not use them in the future and will spread the word to not use them unless this issue can be resolved. Please help me secure the remainder of my good faith deposit totaling $220. Thank you so much.

We do request a 72 hour cancellation notification in order to efficiently schedule our crews and other moves.

We apologize for the lack of communication and will refund the remainder of her "good faith" deposit via her original method of payment.

      Sincerely,

Some feedback for Two Men and a Truck…
I thought this was obvious but a “request” is not the same as “required.” If any amount was non-refundable, that should have been stated upfront, in-writing and/or at the very least found on the website. I was willing to part with $100 to compensate the scheduling efforts and I believe that to be fair considering no moving services were rendered. If your business is going to draw a hardline on refunds, that needs to be communicated. Transparency matters! Quality customer service matters more... unless the business isn’t legit. I’ll be watching for the full refund to my ******** card. Sincerely, ******

On July 22,2022, I utilized the moving services of two men and a truck. I was told that my credit card would be charged 832.50 for the moving services because I put a 330 deposit down. My credit card was actually charged 1072.50. My credit card should be credited 240. On July 26, iI was told that my credit card would be credited and a new receipt emailed. This did not happen. Further, I was charged for 6.5 hours of moving when only 5.5 hours of moving occurred. 30 minutes was deducted for “Lunch hour”, but there is still an additional 30 minutes not accounted for. An additional 82.50 needs to be refunded.

      *****,

We apologize for the billing errors. Your credit card was credited for the $240 yesterday, 7/26/22. We also credited you an additional $82.50 today. It may take a few days for these credits to actually apply.

Receipts for both credits have been/will be emailed to you.

Again, we are sorry for the inconvenience!

      Sincerely,
