Me and my wife bought a car from this company for 2500$ they told us it was a running car but had a problem with the check engine light. We made the purchase still because they gave us their word (and in writing) that they would fix the problem related to the check engine light being on. We made the purchase November 31st. They didn't get the check engine light off until mid-end of Feb. When they did get it off they told us to get it e-checked soon while it was off so we could get plates. Now in May the light came back on and we contacted them to figure out why my light was on. And they told us they can't help us because they already got the car to pass e-check. Now we have a 2000$ fix 6 months after buying the vehicle and can't drive it for at least a couple weeks after being told they would take care of it. A entire camshaft don't go out in less than 6 months unless they are selling cars with pre disposed problems and not telling the purchaser. I was driving and my brakes just stopped working. Luckily I was able to get off the road before there was an accident.

I purchased a vehicle from best deals back in 02/2023. 2018 Hyundai Sonata Sport. I have had several mechanical safety problems wrong with the vehicle that the dealer agreed to fixed and never fixed actually made the problem worse such as, the tire rod on the passenger side being damage I went to get a wheel adjustment for the the car and the wheel alignment place I went said the the tire rod has play and they were unable to to the wheel alignment. I took the car back to besides deals they said they fixed it. I took it back and they said they fixed it but I took it back to the wheel alignment place and they said it was worse than before. Also, I called the bank the car was finance (prancer capital) to try to refinance the car to get lower payments and they told me I would to have to refinance with another bank. So I called a few banks to try to refinance. And was told that the car has been in a serious accident to where the airbags where deployed which I never knew. I asked for the Carfax at the time of purchase and never received it I was told "all cars have problems". After that I reviewed my contract and notice that I have information for another car other than the one I purchase in my contract which is shady to me. When I called the dealer to tell them about it all they said was I had to contact the bank and that there was nothing they can do. Which the dealer are the ones who wrote up the contract. Also, the dealer lied to the bank and told them that they fixed brakes and rotors on the vehicle which is not true I paid 600 dollars to have those replaced. These people are liars and shady people. I intend to go to the full extend to get out of business with these people and get out of this loan with this car because I was never given important information about the vehicle at the time of purchase. Information was not given when I asked. Which is a direct violation of my consumer protection rights.

      Hello,
I will start with explaining what I have attached that provides answers and proof to back us up here at Best Deals Auto Sales in response to Mr. ******'s complaints.
First, I have attached Best Deals Auto Sales "As Is" form. We, here at Best Deals, do sell our cars as such. We know that our vehicles are USED cars and that even brand-new cars have issues. There is no guarantee with any car as soon as you put it out on the road. Because of this ALL our salesman recommend to each potential customer that they take the vehicle they are interested into a licensed mechanic on their test drive or at any time before purchasing the vehicle. Because purchasing a vehicle is a gamble and because we sell USED cars, we make sure EACH and EVERY customer knows that our cars are SOLD AS IS. We still do our due diligence by telling each customer to feel free to take the cars to a licensed mechanic, we also do a check over when buying the vehicle and fix anything that the car may need at that time. So, as you will see Mr. ******, I would assume, signed our "AS IS" form on 2/21/23 thus one would think that proves that he knew of our "AS IS" policy.
Second, I have attached the contract that we here at Twelve Ninety-One, Inc DBA Best Deals Auto Sales use when selling our vehicles. You will see that the correct vehicle is, in fact, on OUR CONTRACT. We have listed: 2018 Hyundai Sonata Sport, which is the vehicle Mr. ****** said he purchased. Thus, proving that we did have the correct vehicle on the contract that we drew up. Also, if you see the third attached paperwork that I attached you will find yourself looking at page 2 of our contract. Moreso, please go to (Page 2) Number 5. It once again states that the vehicles we sell are sold "AS IS" It states BUYER SHALL BEAR THE ENTIRE RISK AND EXPENSE OF REPAIRING OR CORRECTING ANY DEFECTS THAT PRESENTLY EXIST OR WHICH MAY HEREAFTER OCCUR. You will then see that Mr. ****** also initialed on page 2 of this contract stating that he understood all terms and conditions of our contract yet again.
Thirdly, you will find in response to his review of his contract that he states that a different car was put down. I attached the same thing he did just so we can be aware that this is part of the financing process with the banks. When you pull someone's credit you just put in any car, they are interested in to see what a customer gets approved for, how much and what an interest rate looks like, as well as a down payment. This gives you the knowledge you need to let the customer know what they are looking at and how much they have to spend on a vehicle and what his payments look like. It is a starting point for the customer and the salesman to know where they need to be and can the customer afford what came down with that car. If you look at any other deals there will be a vehicle on this page but 8 times out of 10 it will not be the vehicle that the customer then chooses to purchase. Obviously, you have the situations where someone comes in with a car in mind and absolutely wants said vehicle. However, this proves that we did nothing wrong and that what is on this form does not need to match the vehicle you purchase. This is because this car is placed there for the numbers so that like I said before the salesman has a starting point with where to go or where they need to land. Proving that we still have the same vehicle that he did proves my point that a vehicle is placed there for the salesman to gain knowledge of said deal.
Fourthly, I did attach the banks contract. Now this is something that the BANK, or FINANACE COMPANY writes up and sends to the customer after they get all the paperwork from the signing when the customer takes the car. We have no control on what is put on this because again, the finance company is the one that controls this and writes this contract up. I attached this because it states the CORRECT vehicle once again.
Lastly, I am going to respond to Mr. ******'s accusations. I do not see any proof. We go over and beyond for our customers because without them there is no company. However, we do have to have the things above in place for people that try and take advantage of us and the system. I have backed up everything I have said and responded to his complaints with PROOF. Sadly, Mr. ****** went out and spent $600 when we had already fixed the brakes. He said we lied, that is smearing someone's name and reputation and that is NOT OK. He could have called up and if that is something that we said we did then we would have the receipt and would have been able to help him not spend that money and instead he could of warrantied the parts out and just paid a place labor to put them in. Instead, Mr. ****** chose to do something and then say it was our fault.
I have responded and defended everything that we did and provided proof backing it all up. If there is any other issues or questions you can call us at :
330-***-**** or we can respond via a message in here.

      THanks
