Patient was picked up at ********** Nursing home and care ambulance transported him to **.******* hospital. Patient cell phone came up missing during transport. Only thing was found with patient was cord to phone. EMTs asked if patient wanted phone to go with him. Phone has not been found. Contacted Care Ambulance and no one has returned my call. Community care ambulance company sent a bill to collections even though they were waiting for insurance money to come through. They collected the debt from me through the debt collection agency, then received the payment from the insurance. They admitted the bill was sent to debt collection by error, and keep telling me that they will be sending me my money back. I have called them twice, with each time being told a check will be in the mail. It has been over two months and they are not responding to my calls or requests. It is impossible to get through to them anymore. All calls go to a phone tree that tells you the office is closed. This was a hospital to hospital transport that I did not even order, the hospital did.
