      On September 3rd 2021 we hired Doug's Drywall to build 2 bedrooms in our basement that already had carpet.

      He started the building/drywall on September 6th 2021 and finished September 16th 2021.

      We paid him a total of $5,950 by the time he was finished!

      $2500.00 on September 3rd 2021. $500.00 on September 6th 2021. $1250.00 on September 7th 2021. $1700.00 on September 16th for the remaining balance.

      He ruined my carpet with drywall mud. After saying something to him, he turned it around saying we told him he could make the mess. Which the words said was we was replacing it eventually!

      He did not clean up ANY drywall dust nor put plastic up to contain it as it went all the way upstairs everywhere!

      He will NOT respond to messages about receipts as we have NOT got the first receipt from them! I signed a rough draft and was told I was get a copy and have YET to even get that! We have asked on multiple days for receipts from Menards on our own lumber as well with no reply!

      I have proof that I didn’t not ruin any carpets. I have a total of 20 photos from different angles to show the areas that I worked in. I’m only able to upload 4 that leaves 16 others photo’s left to prove I didn’t not ruin ***** Bolsteums carpets. If there is another way for me to send these to you please call and leave a message with an email as my service is not that great where I live and only get service once in town.I’m not turning this into a he said she said situation, I’m a professional. But they (***** & ******) did not pay me in full. The remaining money they still owed me I texted and told them to keep it to cover a shampoo rental because I asked her if she wanted me to clean the carpets for her she replied no. ****** told me not to worry about the carpets he was cutting them out as soon as I was done until the job was at an end. Then he said ***** was upset over carpets so. I told him that I he is the one that told me not to worry about them.  He replied it was on him with the carpets when it came to *****  I did clean them as good as I could get them which you will see in the pictures and you will also see in the pictures that  there were large runs in the carpets as which is why they were going to replace them. I have before and after pictures I’m only sending the best four that show the carpet was not ruined. Thanks for your concern and your time

      I am rejecting this response because: NOTHING was stated about my receipts that was not given to me on all the materials and money we provided which is why this was filed. NO ONE told them to ruin the carpet that would be stupid for someone to even say! Clearing they are stuck on the response of ruining the carpet and the HORRIBLE clean up as my photos can clearly explain! JUST GIVE ME MY RECEIPTS from the materials and for the money that was paid to you! You gave us $25 bucks to clean carpets REALLY? That does not cover the cost of renting a shampooer or having a cleaning company to come in and do it. Thank you for that cost being covered woah! BTW my name is ***** ******** and its ***** not ******!
