      Problem with hotel not wanting to let the customer stay after booking through a third party traveling agency and or them wanting to be also trying to get a one hundred dollar bill on top of the amount already said that was totaled in cost for the booking of the hotel stay for the customers booking. And the customer is then ripped out of their money at times not able to get a refund or still yet be permitted to stay in their room that theyd booked. Regardless of whichever card may had been used or if they had done so or not themselves or that it were someone else that had done so online or had tried to do so in someones name sir or maam whichever you may be. Even if it had been done with someones old card or not. Id like a refund from Expedia.com and super 8 motel.

      To whom it may concern,
      This response is from Super 8, hotel in Athens, OH on complaint ID  ******** made by *******************************. Guest made multiple incorrect reservations with wrong check in dates over last few days which was one of the reasons of denying check in since reservation could not be corrected at the hotel as reservation was made thru third party agency such as Expedia. Every time guest came to check in was informed of security deposit upon check in of $100 regardless of where the reservation was made, this is refunded back after check-out inspection of the room is completed by hotel staff.This policy is listed on all booking sites that hotel requires security deposit at check in from all guests. Finally, guest had correct reservation made and was allowed to check in but had to pay security deposit which guest resisted to paying. As a result, we would not let guest check in without paying refundable security deposit if no damages, smoking as hotel 100% nonsmoking, missing items,or stained linens are found at the time of check out.       On the date of October 28, 2022 I stayed at the Super 8 hotel by Wyndham Company. I gave him my debit card to take the $100 deposit back and noticed after the next day $100 was taken out of my account and i asked why. He gave me no explanation and on the receipt of my stay $100 does not show up. I still to this day have not received the payment back. I’ve called Super 8 by Wyndham corporate and they mentioned i would get it back in 7-10 days. 2 months later i still do not have it.

      The guest was informed of the $100 incidental deposit before check in as required for all guests checking. The guest registered only 2 people for the room during check in. The guest was informed during check in that visitors were not allowed as front desk person noticed more people with guest. About 6 people were found in the room at 4 am, they slammed doors and had loud noise with music during the stay. This resulted in other guests complaints and front desk had to call this guest at 4 am and were asked to leave the hotel or will call police. The guest didn't leave the place right away but left around 6:30 am. The guest was informed that this incidental deposit will not be refunded to them as hotel had to issue refunds to other guests disturbed by the behavior of the guest and others that were there in the same room. I am more than happy to provide details the refunds issued to three guests that night which adds up well more than $100 this guest's incidental charges. Guest details will be only shared with better business bureau as it is confidential. Thank you for the support in this matter and I hope this response is sufficient to close the matter. Please let me know if you need anything else from my end.
