I went to New Day in *****, ** on May 25, and left June 28, 2023 a changed person! I loved the nurses, counselors, hair ************** director, *****! She was my favorite! Sadly when I was leaving, staff went down to get my Apple series 8 smart watch, drivers license, and insurance card that they took from me when I arrived, and they could not find my stuff! They even let me come down in the storage room and look, and it was not there. They told me they would call me if/when they found it, and if they couldnt find it, worst case scenario, Id get a brand new Apple Watch and ID on New Day!! So after weeks of calling and leaving voicemails daily, I finally got an email back saying corporate was taking care of it and someone would be in touch. I never received a call or email from Corporate. I had a flight I needed my ID to get on the plane, so I told New Day I was going to go ahead and get a Watch replacement and my ID replaced. I asked if they would reimburse me. They said yes, so I bought my watch and got my duplicate ID. I emailed the receipts to the person at New Day I was speaking to in the emails. Again, I heard nothing back, when I asked what was going on with the reimbursement she messaged me back saying corporate only agreed to $160 reimbursement. They wanted me to get a refurbished, Apple watch series 4. *** called repeatedly trying to speak to corporate, the owner ***, and no ones called me back! Ive emailed and got no response. I let them know $160 is not gonna work out and to send me the full reimbursement of the receipts that I gave them. Its not my fault they lost my stuff and now they want me to downgrade to a cheaper, refurbished series 4 (instead of the series 8) Apple Watch which I only had to replace because NEW DAY lost mine?! I loved New Day. It really helped me change my life around. It upsets me to have to write this, but they left me no other option. I got a check in the mail for $160! My replacement watch and ID was $585.39.
