      Friday August 27th 2023 I went to pick up my 2023 Camaro. Being that this is a Chevrolet certified dealer I was expecting my windshield to be replaced with OEM parts. The company tried passing the parts as OEM when they were clearly no OEM. They insisted they were and they were not.

      Hello. 

      The customer asked for a replacement when he came in Thursday, October 26th. He did not ask for an *** windshield. Our service advisor priced an aftermarket windshield due to availability and cost. With the ** strike, parts availability has been tough to fulfill. Friday, October 27th the aftermarket windshield was installed. His complaint is that the Heads Up Display doesnt look the same to him. Myself, other advisors and a technician looked at it. None of us saw a flaw in the clarity or look of the display.  He then said it was ok after we couldnt see anything wrong with it. Followed by him cussing at his mother, that was here with him, as if she was making it into a bigger deal. I thought that was odd. Saturday I received stating that he was not mad at his mom, but felt at thought we be littled him. I thought this was odd as well. We did ask him opened questions for clarity as to what his concern was. We want him happy and the vehicle fixed correctly.  I was unaware as to wether the windshield was aftermarket or *** on Friday. Monday morning, October 30th, I spoke with the advisor that originally sold him the windshield and found out it was aftermarket. The *** is a few hundred dollars more and not sure when it will show up. I had the original advisor reach out to *** to let him know it was an aftermarket windshield. That being said we will order and install an *** windshield at no extra cost to him. As of today, *** left his vehicle here and we have a new windshield from ** on order for him. I hope that the Heads Up Display on the ** windshield meets his expectations. We definitely did not try to get one over on him.  We were trying to get him a windshield as fast as possible and keep his cost down.  He always have our customers best interest at heart.
