Sorry to say I’m with the other reviewers. Almost immediately came and gave us a fair estimate. Yeah someone on the top of things, NOT. Getting them to show up and do the work was an ordeal, weeks later, and then even worse attempting to get them to finish what they quoted and started. which never happened! I too go for small business but not in this case. We even got a business card with a gentleman’s name on it that didn’t even work for the company. The man’s name was of a competitor! How strange. Cole, the presumed owner never returned a call or email. Only contact was when they wanted to collect on job not completed! Moving on…

These people are ridiculous, lying about coming out to cut almost an acre. We live in the home they claim to have cut every week in June! I think we would notice if they cut that much grass every week! Do not use this company! They are unprofessional and unreliable.Our yard looks awful waiting on them to come cut it after being paid ahead of time through the summer months. I would give them no stars if I could. Do yourself a favor and do not do businesses with this company.

We contracted with Rooted for landscaping and to install our lawn after a new build. Spring of 2021, they graded, added soil, seeded and rock-hounded our lawn. After several weeks, we noticed that we did not have any grass growing and contacted Rooted. They sent a young kid out and he blew through our lawn (which is 3/4 of an acre) in about 15 min reseeding. Again, no grass. Cole came out a second time and used a handheld seeder (for 3/4 acre) to reseed again - he said their regular equipment was not working. I asked why the grass was not growing and he said he didn't know. A professional would have redid the lawn at this point. However, since we are big supporters of small business, we continued to water and see if the grass would grow. The only thing growing at this point was weeds. I then contacted them 2 more times and every time it took at least 3 weeks to respond to us. They did not offer any other solutions. We then had our dirt tested and found extremely high levels of almost all the elements with Phosphorus being 10x what it should be. Again, we did not hear from them until several weeks later and he said he had a friend who could help him get the lawn right and we should hear from him in a day. Again, several weeks passed and we sent another email asking for reimbursement of the contaminated soil ($4,900). We paid a total of $10,000 for this lawn that never grew. We did not ask for reimbursement of the labor. Now that we asked for funds back, he contacts us and says let me make it right, with no mention of how that was going to happen or when. At this point, 4 months had elapsed and we had to go with another lawn company to make it right with an additional cost of $4,100 out of our pocket. We have not seen any reimbursement of funds at the time of this review. I'm sad that I had to write a negative review on a small company but I don't want anyone else to be negatively impacted by this company.
