On 04/26/2023, Dennis *****, the plumber from Pompeii's Plumbing.Sewer.Drain (33751 Lear Industrial Pkwy., Avon, OH 44011) issued Invoice No. ****** to me with the following Diagnosis/Solution: "Toilet is leaking from the base of toilet when flushed. Toilet needs to be removed and wax ring needs to be replaced. Once toilet is removed will inspect toilet flange to insure flange is i good shape. If toilet flange needs replace it will be at an additional charge. Customer has new customer supplied kitchen faucet that they would like installed." The following line items appear on this invoice: Pull And Reset Toilet P35_TRR_625................................................................310.98 Owner Supplied Standard Kit Faucet Install D05_CSM_090...................348.83 Toilet Flange Replacement P35_TRR_505....................................................400.64 This totalled $1,060.45. Mr. ***** then proceeded to enter $200.00 in a block called "USA Savings On This Invoice", making the total billed to my credit card $860.45. Mr. ***** installed the new kitchen faucet first, which took about 25 minutes. I have no problem with this part of the service provided. He then returned to the basement toilet and began the work of pulling and resetting the toilet to replace the wax ring. This job was also completed satisfactorily, and there is no more water leaking from the base of the toilet. However, after Mr. ***** departed, I saw that there was water now dripping from the bolts that hold the toilet tank to the bowl, which was not happening prior to Mr. ***** replacing the wax ring. I contacted the company and spoke with Michelle (receptionist?) on both May 4th and May 10th. Please see the attached email chain for the response I received from Pompeii's. I would like the toilet repaired so that it does not leak. And since the problem was caused by the plumber, I feel it should be corrected at no further cost to me.Business response

Pompeii's has reviewed this complaint and have since contacted and spoke with **** on this concern. Pompeii's has placed **** on our service schedule July 5th, 2023 to return to make this repair at no cost to ****.

Hired because of good reviews on bbb, however company completely disregarded agreement upon what was expected to be done by skipping important steps of professional work. Had company come out 2/24/2021 for estimate, with email confirmation of estimate and work to be preformed. Work was to be preformed once a date was available for availability. Which was on 04/02/2021 While doing work I asked for copies of permits for insurance purposes, they stated due to COVID-19 it doesn’t have to be posted in window. After doing an extensive research that was a lie and no permits were pulled, after calling and asking I was told I’d hear back from company, company failed To reach back after multiple attempts, also was told a 1-2 year warranty of work would be included with work still haven’t received any proof of warranty.Business response

I have attached a copy of the form from City of Cleveland regarding the plumbing permit being pulled as of today and a updated invoice from the job providing the warranty data. We hope this clears up this matter and will work with city of Cleveland should they require any additional data.
