I hired Platinum Garage and Electrical to build me a quality 20x20 garage with a new driveway and a cement pad to walk out on from the side door of the new garage. Not one day of the tear out or build of the garage or driveway was the field manager there. No one to make sure the job was done right! I reported to Nilsa that the crew left a mess on my property from the tear out of my old driveway and garage! So much dirt at the end of my driveway it took me days to hose it away! They were suppose to put reinforce wire for the new driveway before the cement pour and they were 1/3 short and Nilsa said they would bring it out the day of the pour, it never happened! When the cement was poured the left the excess all over my new foundation and according to the Owner ********* ******* he could not remove it and for me just to cover it up with dirt and not make a big deal out of it! He used grade 3 lumber to build my entire garage claiming that he only uses premium lumber which would be grade 1 or 2, all the wood in my garage is STAMPED garage 3. He told me since I planned to insulate just ignore the grade! My garage is leaking water inside when we have a heavy rain day! He never agreed to fix not one thing that is wrong. To top it off the Attorney General DOES NOT have a company by the name of PLATINUM GARAGE AND ELECTRICAL. I paid in full because TEM threatened to put a mechanic’s lien on my property. The permits are listed in the name of Platinum Construction LLC and ********* ******* is the STATATORY AGENT. They are using a fake name to keep from being sued ! The contract I signed and the checks I wrote all said Platinum Garage And Electrical. When I told TEM how unhappy I was with the awful work he called me bipolar since I would not give him a FIVE Star review either the BBB / GOOGLE/ and ANGIE LIST! I need help with getting all my money back $26K plus the money that I will have pay other business to fix some of the damages they created! Some repairs can not be fixed!

We have spoken with & met with this customer on site several times in attempts to satisfy/remediate any issues with the project. The lumber used on the project was verified as industry standard by a representative of the lumber supplier, who met the customer on site to discuss her concerns. The garage/concrete passed ANY AND ALL inspections by the city of Cleveland, including pre and post project inspections. Records of these inspections are available with the city building department. We have formally apologized to the customer for any unprofessional behavior by our staff, and assured the customer disciplinary actions have been taken. We also offered the customer a project discount, which to date has been refused. We have reason to believe this smear campaign/complaint is merely an attempt to receive the project at no cost.

Platinum Garage and Electrical would have to repair the items listed! The photo prove my garage leaks, the lumber is grade 3, the over pour of concrete is attached to the foundation of my garage and driveway and the left me a huge job to cleanup behind the build of my garage . No one pays in full for a garage to try and get a FREE garage built!

Unfortunately at this time there is nothing else that can be done regarding this matter. We have offered a discount on the project to cover the time/labor the customer spent cleaning her yard. To reiterate the point regarding the lumber, there is are no structural issues with the materials used. This customer is asking for the FULL amount of the project refunded plus several thousand dollars for erroneous claims. Any of the concerns with the lumber used are purely aesthetic; we had even gone as far as to offer installing dry wall to make this customer happy. She refused.

Platinum Garage never responded to water coming into my New Garage or the EXCESS concrete attached to my foundation any the concrete pad at the side door and no reinforced concrete in 1/3 of my driveway ! On my check to start my project it said see attachment to our concrete where it showed Michael promised a concrete pad and I wrote it on the contract as well before they cashed my $1K check!

After additional review, we have noted there was a verbal agreement to install a 3x3 concrete pad at no cost. Our crew unfortunately overlooked the write-in, our apologies for the oversight. At this point we can offer you a $500 refund, or install the pad at no cost. Regarding the intrusion of water, we're happy to send a tech over to inspect & remediate any issues found. Regarding the wire reinforcement; as we use both wire & fiber mesh, total coverage with wire is not needed per code when both are used in conjunction. This work was inspected & passed by your municipality as adhering to local code compliance.

I have provided the proof of all the things that were done wrong with my garage build. The owners failed to take ownership of the things that are wrong with the build and because he threatened me at my house and called me out of my name, he can not come on my property again. My final offer to settle this complaint is all of the money I paid his company $26k or I will file the lawsuit and I will be asking for a lot more money including attorney fees!

Cement driveway collects water, a pool of water, after Platinum laid the cement to access our new garage we hired them to build.

This project was started over a year ago; no complaints regarding the concrete were ever made to our office. We first learned of the issue through a negative ****** ******* Regardless, we contacted and met with the customer to remediate the issue. At their request, we replaced the two sections of the driveway that were holding water. They are now claiming the drive is holding water in another location, which is a very small puddle. Despite our best efforts in good faith, we are unable to satisfy this customer.

** ********* **** ********* here. Attached is the new pool of water area pics that DID NOT EXIST UNTIL they corrected the original complaint pool of water. The third pic is after it sat overnite. Water had still not dried up. Tim from Platinum asked why didn't we tell him about the pool closest to the garage when he came to repair and replace the original pool of water and it's because the second pool of water closest to the garage wasn't there then. Appeared after fixing our first complaint. Thank you...

Per the terms of our signed contract by the customer we are permitted to address & correct issues at our discrepancy, which we have completed. This issue is now considered resolved by our office.

They told me in the job outline that it would take 3 weeks. Here we are in the 8th week. Work started on May 23rd. It's currently July 18th. I've been without the back section of my driveway since June 1st. They do extremely shotty work. They didnt glue the pipes, it was back pitched, the part that was supposed to be a french drain was just a solid peice of sewer pipe, the crock was crooked and leaked like crazy, then where they tied into the existing drain they cut a pvc pipe and rolled it onto itself to fit inside the existing clay pipe. They failed their first inspection miserably. They got dodgy when they were called out on their poor workmanship. They labeled me hostile and aggressive and wouldn't take my calls for a week over an angry voice-mail I left upon discovering the pipe that had been cut, leaked like crazy, and that they had hit my fence with a bobcat (est. 1k repair bill). In a year I would've been dealing with serious driveway issues with that leaking and creating washout under it. So after failing their inspection they dug everything up and left it sit just out of the ground for about 3 days before returning. Then upon them finally returning they put it all back together and failed yet another inspection. By this point in time they're showing up maybe once a week and only after I called their office everyday asking when they were going to return. So finally they come back out Friday the 7th. They pitched everything properly, and it all looks good. Only there's no glue. I made it very clear to the owner the inspector was going to fail them again if they didn't glue it. So i called him he called them and Mon the 10th, they showed up and glued everything before the inspector shows up. So after having me run water through the system the drain crock is still leaking like crazy. He failed them a third time. I've reached out to the owner multiple times only to not have my messages returned. It's been radio silence since they showed up on Friday the 7th.

Project has passed all necessary inspections as of Friday August 4th. Concrete pour is scheduled for Saturday August 9th. Job will be complete after concrete pour. Customer has enlisted someone to call and harass our business, referencing this job & harassing our staff. We have the name/number of the individual, and are happy to share this.

So firstly that's a straight lie on their part. The driveway in question still is not prepped for concrete. There is gravel with grass growing out of it currently, and wire mesh strew about as it has been for the last month. The inspections have not actually passed. They claim they have an inspection scheduled for Monday. I most certainly have not had anyone reach out to the company on my behalf. There have been reviews left on other sites as well as a post on Facebook by my wife which seems to have generated some attention. I just want my project finished but if the company wants to attempt veiled threats both on here and on Google, I will not back down. The way you've carried out business is terrible. From the day Micheal "forgot" our meeting for picking finishes to the lack of care that's left my backyard, driveway and property as a whole as a dangerous place while knowing I have dogs and a young child. To this day there are open trenches in my yard. So stop lying to the BBB as for the level of progression you have. If you've passed any inspection other than the prepour inspection for the garage slab please feel free to post pics. I'll wait. I know a little bit about construction as I've been in the trades as long as your company has been in business. So you labeled me difficult when I called you out on your shotty workmanship. So please just stop while you're ahead as you know exactly how this actually played out.
