We had Platinum Garages build our 2 1/2 car garage, they were very thorough &professional. Any issues we had with the process, were immediately addressed and rectified... The owner of Platinum Garages is very hands on- Tim, went out of his way to meet with us multiple times during the build. His people do great work, very skilled, very professional. We didn't have a garage at our home... so, this upgrade is very much appreciated by us. We have a smaller yard- which posed some difficulty in the overall process but, the total build time was about 5 weeks and Tim's people were quick and did detailed work on our behalf. Tim's electricians are top notch... they were here 12+ hours getting our power requirements up and going. Nilsa in customer service was very helpful and quickly responded to our concerns that arose... We readily recommend Platinum Garages for new builds and upgrades.

I would advise anyone to never hire this company. My husband hired this company to build a 2 car garage and install a French drain as our backyard turns into a swamp. After 2 no shows with no communication, they began tearing down the existing single car garage on May 23. There was no communication when they'd be on site and they'd leave without a word. The process of pouring the new garage foundation and building the new garage went pretty quick. However, when they were removing the old slabs they hit my fence damaging it and when it came to the drainage, they failed 3 inspections. None of it was pitched correctly, the French drain was not a French drain; rather a pointless pipe with no perforations. The pipe connected to the existing clay pipe, was NOT connected with a boot; rather they chose to cut the pipe in half and glued it around itself then shoved it into the clay pipe. Every single connection leaked!! The owner Tim even gone as far as to go over the inspectors head to have these failures overturned. Finally after minimal communication and many attempts to fix the failures (2.5 months later) on July 27, they finally pass inspection. Finally we can move forward and put this whole nightmare behind us... Since the 27th until yesterday, there was no communication for when they'd be out to finish the job. When I started leaving reviews that reflect our experience this far, is when they decided to get us on the schedule. To-date my backyard is still missing the driveway, they've left my yard a mess, they've left the reinforcing mesh laying around which is unsafe for my kids and dogs. If it were up to this company my driveway would be sunken in and destroyed after a couple years. This company does not care about quality work much less customer service. Hiring this company was a mistake we will never make again!

Dear Mrs *********** we sincerely apologize for your experience and we appreciate your feedback. As we are in customer service industry it is almost impossible to satisfy each and every customer especially when customers are rude, disrespectful and abusive. You and your husbands behavior toward our sales manager, office personnel and crew members forced us to modify our contract. "Thanks" to this experience we have added a no abusive/profound actions will be tolerated clause and cancel/stop the job right away. We have saved all your inflammatory emails and voicemails and would be happy to share if needed. Your non stop calling to the building department and complaints about us was nothing but a waste of everyones time. At this point in time these “reviews” seem like more of an attempt to damage our reputation with one sided half-truths rather than the whole picture.

Our calls to the building department were valid as this project has cost us tens of thousands. If you're going to do a job and claim to be high quality (as you state on your website and in the contract, that the job would follow municipal code) then DO the job correctly the first time. How we feel the job should've been done has no merit to whether you pass your inspects, rather the quality work you allow your employees to provide warrented your failed inspections. There is no half truth here, your low quality job would've destroyed my driveway within a couple years, after seeing the shotty work you did, we have every right to complain! But as Tim stated loud and clear the day he quit, "I don't care about your driveway or how much money you are spending." I'm not hurting your company, I'm stating our experience as it is that occurred. You sir are hurting your own company. Anyone who is thinking to do business with Tim should beware. I have video of this company taking back many of their materials that they are currently claiming we owe them for. They even went as far as to put a lien on our property.
