purchased a suv from a small dealership and paid cash for it. I have contacted them 5 times if not more in my 90 days of purchasing the Vehicle. I told them my check engine light has been on Bc of the Catalyic converter. This first call I made I was told that “you are still able to drive with the check engine light 0n and to call back if it continues to come on and that sometimes autozone has the wrong codes. To call back if it stays on. Second call because now the light was staying on constantly. I had to get 3 temp tags because my car wouldn’t pass echeck Bc of the same code I already told them about. I was told they weren’t going to fix it. Several calls later and now they say they can give me a receipt to give the echeck place so I can purchase plates. That was yesterday when I called for the 6th time. Then today Sean calls and says they won’t write me a receipt but that the will pay for the part, but that I needed to pay $300 up front and that I can make payments to the dealership until the $650 is paid off. I was not ok with this. When I purchased the car they fixed a couple things such as the ac(which barely works still) and a tire sensor. They had my car for three days and were supposed to put in the missing support bar for my front hood… which is currently sitting in the office that they got from the shop. Because that was never fixed yet. I spent over $10,000 for a car that I can not even get plates for. All they say is that I should’ve told them sooner. I called them three weeks after I purchased the car in cash. That was the very first day it went on and was blown off and told that it was a wrong code and I can still drive it with the check engine light on. There is also a wiring issue Bc my radio doesn’t work, the seatbelt light doesn’t ding, back up camera doesn’t beep and my turn signals don’t click or make noise. I’m going to be reaching out to an attorney .
