  A new roof was put on by CB roofing in 2020 and this past weekend with High winds shingles have come off on the west side of the house. I called a roofing contractor (Robbin’s Roofing) to give me an estimate to make the repair. Robbin’s roofing stated that the roof installation was installed on rotted wood and there is no way a repair could be done because the wood is like mush. I texted CB roofing and have not heard anything from them in regards to this. Robbins roofing stated that the contractor should have replaced the rotted wood at the time the new shingles were being installed and suggested I contact the original installer to make the necessary repairs.

  On July 13, CB Roofing attempted to repair my roof by chimney area by coating with roof tar. **** ** ******* ********* **** I agreed to this $350 charged to me. Took them less than an hour. 3 weeks later. Rained and blowing winds from North. Leaking water bad inside bedroom area they worked on. We agreed they return Nov 4&5 to build cricket behind chimney, new flashing, iceguard, shingles round chimney area. I agreed to pay $1200 for work to be performed and they guaranteed not to leak. Within a week later, rained and leaked worse than before. Called **** ******, he came out, confirmed roof leaking in same area. Said he would get with his worker ***** and return to remedy problem. I even offered to pay if more material involved. I have since called 3-4 times his business # and have been ignored. I'm filing this complaint for the job to be done right or $1000 to be returned to me.

  On July 13th I did repairs for *** ******** on **** ** ****** *** ******** ****. I agreed to fix leak behind chimney Also fixed gutter, at same time had a busted elbow corners on gutter, long gutter hanging off fixed those for free. Also on his garage leaking gutter fixed for free
  
  He called back when chimney leaking again I told him a guy ***** ******** that could do a cricket behind chimney
  
  The two of them made a contract I have copy of it enclosed
  
  ***** stated in front of Tim that he didn't have a driver's license to cash the check - Tim agreed to write the check out to myself just for cashing

  Lies!
  First of All, 7/13/21 Mr ****** came to my home **** ** ****** ** to inspect repair needed to roof..we agreed to him coating area by chimney.Also to rehang gutter on east side of house.He also inspected damage done on inside wall of bedroom from roof leak.Asked for $30 down. Paid him cash. Included copy of receipt.
  Mr ****** returned7/19 with 2 others workers to coat roof area by chimney, rehung gutter east side of house which still leaks water runoff Time spent less than an hour, charged me $350 total. Gave him balance of bill. Check for $70 plus $250 cash. Included copy of receipt.
  Few weeks went by, storm, blowing winds, checked inside of bedroom, roof leak still present. Called and texted Me ******. Took few calls, finally answered, said he recommended building a cricket behind chimney, new flashing, iceguard and shingles around chimney area. Mr ****** stopped out with his partner ***** ******** to discuss roof repair. Estimated $1200 to fix, I agreed and wrote up proposal.I paid $600 down to **** ****** ck # ***. Both men returned and worked on roof Nov 4&5. Also replaced NE corner of gutter.Included copy of receipt
  Mr ****** insisted I write balance of bill $600 in his name ck# ***. Both men assured me leak is fixed. If not to call them. Rained followig week
  Still leaking inside bedroom, I tried calling both Mr ****** and Steve. Ignored my calls. I then informed BBB. C.B. Roofing is the company I hired for these roof repairs.Owner hand wrote receipts of bills and I've sent photos in to BBB
  I seek $1000 returned to me to apply to a future roof estimate to have fixed properly.Thank You

  I have not heard back from BBB regarding my complaint against CB Roofing . I went back to my email from you and seen this case closed? No one notified me of this.I did not receive voice mail either. I am not satisfied with the outcome
  This business took my money and did not fix the problem. I sent justification of payment and receipts giving to me .I want justice! I'd like this case reopened. I am available after 2 pm for phone call
