I have reached out via email 4 times (I cannot find a phone number for Madison Braids) in order to exchange a braid for another color (strawberry blonde for dirty blonde see pics of current color) but may emails are being ignored. They advertise there is no problem with exchanges but they must be done within 3 days however they don't respond within 3 days. At this point I would rather just have my money back as I am wondering if the exchange/return program or this business is a scam!Initial Complaint

Order #***** on 5/12/2022 contained three braids Two braids have fell apart at the ends due to the elastic headband being glued on the ends. Third one is falling apart. Attempted to reach out to them via social media they ignored me. I left comments talking about the glued ends failing and I was then blocked. They scammed me out of $85 dollars and blocked me. I would like a refund.Customer response

On July 3 2022 I ordered a product from Madison Braids that was being advertised on Facebook. On July 17 I received the product but it did not match my hair so I contacted Madison Braids. They said that they would give me a store credit however the color that they thought would best match my hair was out of stock. After numerous dealings with their "canned responses" I was able to get a shipping label on July 19th and shipped the product on the 20th of July. I have been waiting since that time to hear back as to when I would be able to get my replacement product or a refund of $40.95. Today, September 7, 2022 I contacted them again as to how long I was going to have to wait for the correct product with them having my money! I finally got a response that led me to call my Post Office. I gave my tracking number to my Post Office and discovered that my returned product was sitting at the Columbus, Ohio Post Office since July 23 awaiting their pick up after attempted delivery. I cannot get ahold of anyone because they do not give out their phone number. I had no idea that they were such a scam! They are impossible to be able to talk to a real person!Initial Complaint

I purchased $70 worth of braids from Madison Braids and the color never matched. I tried to contact them on several different search engines because the link to Return items on their website is bogus. I tried several different ways of trying to reach them including writing an email. I got an automated response that told me to clink the link for a return. when I clicked the link it took me to a blank page. I tried several other times including different search engines and it was always a blank page. NO WAY to contact them for a refund. I want my money refunded. This is a horrible product and I have never seen such bad customer service. This company needs to stop doing business. I need help getting my refundInitial Complaint

I wish I had read the other reviews before I purchased. Many people had the same experience I did. I ordered two of their products, got a tracking number, and the product never moved out of Florida. After contacting them about five times, they finally sent out a color that didn’t match. I returned the mis matched items as requested. Then they never refunded my money or replaced the items. They just kept telling me they had never received them. Now I am out the $60 that I spent for the products plus my time effort and money shipping the mismatched products back.Initial Complaint

I purchased items from Madison Braids on 6/10 and received notice the items shipped on 6/11. However, after a week there were no tracking updates. I reached out and asked for an update and was not provided one. I asked to cancel the items on 6/25 as I was leaving on vacation and wanted the product to take with me. On 6/27- Madison Braids responsed that my items had shipped and provided a different tracking number. When products did arrive- they did not match my hair- so I requested to exchange them. I sent the items back on 7/21 and never received the replacements. I reached out on 9/2 asking for a refund on the items I returned- I've reached out 2 more times with no responseBusiness response

Order #****** I placed an order with Madison Braids on August 27, 2021 when I ordered a two strand headband. I completed the order online and got an email that my order has been received. On August 30th I received an email stating that my item has shipped and I could track my item on Shop. There has never been a tracking number assigned to my package and there is no other information available. I have emailed the company twice since and have had no reply back to my email. No contact at all from the company. I would like a full refund for the item that I have never received.Business response

On 8/5/21 I placed an order with Madison Braids for a total of $40.95 including shipping and handling. On 8/6/21 I received an email that my order was shipped however I did not receive a tracking number or a customer service telephone number. On 8/12/21 I sent Madison Braids an email stating I have not received my order and that I needed a tracking number as soon as possible. I did not receive an answer from them. On 8/14/21 I sent another email to them that I still have not received my order. Also, I sent them a message via their Instagram account and did not receive an answer. Today is 8/16/21 and I still have not received my order or an answer from my several attempts to contact Madison Braids. They do not supply a customer service telephone number. I have checked with my credit card company and the amount of $40.95 was charged to my account on 8/6/21. I would like a full refund from Madison Braids as soon as possible.Business response
