On Fri. 10/07/22 I had a free consultation at brandnue weight loss for explanation of their diet. The consultant was kind and friendly, but failed to disclose some very important details of the plan which, had I been aware of them, I would have made the decision NOT to participate. 1. It was never discussed, nor disclosed that the two meals, lunch/ dinner had to be consumed within a 6 hour window. 2. 4 oz of meat at each meal was disclosed, but not 4oz of vegetables/fruit. 3. No opportunity whatsoever was given for examination/reading of the diet plan booklet where this information is contained. 4. Although this was stated to me at my appointment on Wed. 10/12, that the price of the program $1560 is non- refundable, I don't exactly remember this, and I was not given a copy of the documents I signed that day on 10/07/22. 5. I called on Monday 10/10/22 to explain that I could not participate in the program, after reading the booklet, because my job 3 days / week does not allow for any opportunities to consume the amount of water required nor eat the 2 meals within the 6 hr window at which time I was encouraged to keep my Wed. appointment and see if the consultant could come up with an alternate plan. When I arrived on Wednesday, not only did they not have a feasible plan figured out, but I explained that I was not sure what was in the drops and supplements, and did not want to take them because I didn't ingest food additives. When it was all said and done, I paid $400 for a diet kit of chemicals that I did not receive/take, and $81.20 for an office visit just to explain why I could not do the diet. I was up front about my work schedule, and the original interviewing consultant should have known I was not a candidate. This diet was falsely represented, they should have gone through the booklet, or let the customer examine/read it first, skipped the PowerPoint and most definitely listed ingredients on those drops and supplements.Business response

We regret that this client had a less than positive experience with our company. We pride ourselves on being extremely transparent so that clients can make the best informed decision for themselves. This is just one of the reasons for our extremely high success rate.
Plans very in complexity, price and commitment but we always strive to be upfront and honest about what is expected on the first meeting. It is unfortunate if there was a miscommunication in this case.
Our supplements are made in an FDA approved plant and all of the ingredients are clearly listed on the label as required by law. We also have a document that can be given out if requested that explains all of the ingredients in detail.
Looking back on the file it seems that management did try to make it right by offering modifications to the original program. When this wasn’t acceptable a refund for unused services was given and a signed letter of acceptance was obtained from the client on 10-12-22.

Better Business Bureau:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, reasons for rejection are included below.
1. No products were supplied for which I was charged $400.00, and therefore, I should have the $400.00 refunded.2. The 'visit' that took place was merely for me to return the unopened, unused 'kit' of 'products which I was not going to use because the program was not going to work for my work schedule WHICH was fully disclosed by me on the first meeting. The $80.00 charge for a 'visit' should be refunded because, a) I was no longer a program participant; b) I was only there to return the products, not to be "talked into" modifying, continuing the program that I clearly could not do r/t my work schedule AND the type of work I perform. ( I am a CWCN, work in full PPE in sterile conditions and do NOT get breaks, going for very long periods without any chance to eat/drink.) The necessity to consume 2 meals within a 6 hr period NOT disclosed during the original meeting, this information could only be learned by reading the booklet which was not given until AFTER you had the original meeting and were handed the kit! There was no opportunity to review the booklet, nor was it gone over during the original meeting! For this reason, I was NOT properly informed, there was no 'confusion' or misinterpretation, and 'modification' of the plan was not going to be a consideration because there was no way I would be able to do anything about modifying any point of my work schedule, which definitely comes first. The entire amount that was charged needs to be refunded- I did not open, nor use any of their products which were all returned totally intact, participate in their program, get any professional services whatsoever, get anything at all for $480.00 except two trips to a place 1/2 hour away from where I live and a waste of my time and gas on two of my precious days off
