I booked a hotel stay over the phone for a weekend stay. Upon check in, I was assigned to a room. When I got to the room, I noticed it was cold, so I turned the thermostat up. My wife and I were there for a dart tournament, and spent a lot of time out of the room. When we returned, the room was still on the colder side, even though the thermostat was reading at 81 Degrees. The air coming out of the vent was cold. I called the front desk and they said someone would be around TOMORROW to check it out. No one came in the morning, and our room was freezing over night. We went to the front desk in the morning, and complained and were told someone would be there today to check it out. My wife and I spent a good part of the day at the dart tournament, but when we arrived back in the room that evening, it was still cold. I checked the thermostat and it was still reading 81 degrees. It felt more like 50 in there. She turned it up to over 95+ degrees, and it finally began warming up. It was still cold air coming from the vent area, and she eventually turned it off. We went to ******* and bought a room space heater. That evening, while we were laying in bed, trying to sleep, around 11pm, the fire alarm began going off. My wife got out of bed, opened the room door and saw other guests were in the hall as well. One lady said this had happened Friday morning. People were leaving their rooms to go to lobby. This was a terrible inconvenience, as we were in our pajamas, in bed already. It turns out the fire/smoke was coming from the kitchen, and the front desk was able to "cancel" the alarm manually. I wanted to write a review on their website about this experience, but we were never given a confirmation number, and without it, I couldn't leave a review. What I paid for is not what I was expecting. A cold room, disruption during the night, and front desk personnel that didn't care about doing their job. I was never given a final bill, so I don't know what they charged me for.
