I took my 2007 ******* in on 1.5.24 for oil seal, and took it back on 1.10.24 for sensors. I paid $150 for the oil seal and $200 for the sensors. I picked the car up on 1.11.24. It was leaking oil. I took the car to *******, they said the oil seal was not replaced and the sensors have not been touched, and scheduled me for an inspection tomorrow at 11am and they will take the front cover off.Business response

Customer ask for a Quote to replace a crankshaft oil seal. My shop DID NOT DO ANY DIAGNOSTICS, just did the requested repairs. The SUV was returned the same day Jan. 2 totaling 151.22.
Customer returned to my shop Jan. 11 requested an oxygen sensor replacement. Never mentioned an oil leak at this time. Called me back and requested that I change both front and rear O2 sensor. After diagnosis, the front O2 sensor had a problem, also showed a P0128 faulty Thermostat and a TPS problem. I called the customer, suggested replacing the front O2 sensor, Thermostat and to clean the throttle body. He said to go ahead with the stated repairs SUV was returned Jan 12 totaling 225.76.
Both repairs were completed with the new parts invoiced. Invoices show date and type of vehicle new parts were purchased for.
I called ****** (the Customer) after I received a letter from the BBB. He told me he took the SUV to ***** in Benwood. Told me three Mechanics worked on it and told me they said I did not do the repairs. I asked him to meet me at *****, he said he was on his way. I went to *****, But ****** did not show up. I talked to the manager and mechanics who stated they told him they would have to take the SUV apart to check that repairs were done. ***** did not tell him the repairs were not completed.
The requested repairs were correctly performed. I do not feel any refund is warranted.

Better Business Bureau:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
I pay Toms Auto Service to put new O2 sensors up and down he didn't put the down sensor in and I pay him to put a Oil crank shaft seal in the front that wasn't even done he put one sensor in the top that's it after I gave him all together 350.00 and only put one sensor in my car, but I seen him and son driving my car at 7:30 at night, he drove right pass me and wife while we were walking to get food.Plus the paper work he sent you, he and the person who owns **** **** are friends and he goes behind the counter all the time. He went over next door to his place is **** **** and he made that up, the slip he sent you guys he even called me names in front of customers in his place saying I miss 3 appointments which I didn't, did later that day he told me he mess up about appointment that invoice he sent you guys he went over **** **** and made all that up.
If he change all what I pay him for why did I have to get it all done again. He just took my money, I gave hhim before the work waas done all but the seal I pay him when I pick up my car which the light was on the dash, engine light, all my gas was gone and I drop it off with a full tank. Then he even call myh house calling me more names after the paper work you guys sent to him. I want my money I gave him for 3 things, 350.00 but he did one thing, he put upper sensor in, he owes me for bottom sensor and the 157.00 for seal. I want 250.00 dollars back, he can deep 100.00 for the upper sensor.
Thank you, that was our bill and food money but we need our car for doctors and appointments.
Regards,
