I made a purchase August 22nd at 6:45PM (Receipt **********) for 2 strawberry shortcake and 2 frycake cookies (4 pack) at this Crumbl Cookie location. At around 12:00PM 8/24 I discovered one of the cookies had a large growth of mold surrounding the cookie. I became very ill the moment I opened the box and was exposed to the mold. Given this short period of time between purchasing the cookies and discovering this mold growth, I believe the strawberries to have already been bad when the cookies were made and sold to me. The cookies were sealed in the original box they came in and on my counter. There were no instructions on the box, in store, or online stating any further storage precautions needed to ensure the cookies would remain fresh (or not grow mold). I believe Crumbl needs to communicate how to store cookies as well as an investigation into this location's ingredients to ensure they are not making product with old/moldy ingredients.
