The Plain Dealer's accounting department is the WORST! I have had problems with them with my payments, etc. on and off for years. Since the new year (2024), I have been trying to resolve a problem where my bank sent them a payment and they did not credit it to my account. I sent them numerous emails and made numerous calls over 2 months time only to find out that they RETURNED my payment to my bank and couldn't even tell me why! No one knows anything over there! I loved getting my Plain Dealer newspaper but I will not deal with them ever again so I will not be renewing my subscription, sadly. I can't even see my account online anymore. I told them to wipe my account out (zero balance) due to all my problems with them. They need to get it together or they will keep losing customers. Their customer service department is TERRIBLE! It is obviously outsourced to another country and the people barely speak English and don't have a clue how to help. I hope someone at this company does something about this.Review from Don M

I have tried working with customer service regarding home delivery for almost a solid year and still multiple times my newspaper is never delivered on a Sunday. If customer service cannot control their delivery people then it's become so inefficient and you're responsible that I have no choice but to cancel my subscription and when I call to do so they didn't even care...Review from LUCILLE P

Every time I make a payment to the Plain dealer for my e edition am locked out of the e edition. This has been happening for about nine months. It takes about 24 hours to be able to read this. again. This is ridiculous. I am only able to read after calling them and not until the next day.. I have reported this each time but it keeps happening. They should be able to fix this. Terrible customer service, cancelled subscription paid balance. Plain dealer keep coming. Called customer service was told I had $30 balance and was paid up to March. I said i didn’t care cancel the service, just keep the money I don’t want anything to do with you, 4 phone calls and you can’t get things right. I was assured it would be handled, a week later I get a bill for $20! **** *
