***** ******, the owner at Fab Five Contracting presented a contract on November 9, 2021 to perform the following within a 4-6 day timeframe: Remove existing shower glass door and dispose, Remove existing tile shower and dispose, Adjust plumbing for new tub and surrounds, Install new tub with new surrounds, install drywall around shower and finish to be paint ready, install shower faucet trim. and signed by he and myself on November 10, 2021. Payment was made of $2850 in full to ***** by check in good faith that the parameters of the contract would be met in a reasonable manner. ***** violated the contract per the following area(s). Bags of trash/tile/ remnants of shower remain outside in ripped open bags 21 days after removal, Drywall is not finished/ paint ready. Seams between new and existing drywall are visible, cracks are present. Drywall mud left all over surrounds, bathtub and fixtures, There was a very substantial leak from plumbing behind shower wallcausing damage to new and existing drywall and surrounding areas and left leaking for approximately one week. In an effort to fix the leak an unsightly additional access panel above the existing access panel on bedroom wall was placed. Timeline has exceeded projected time frame with no valid reason. Upon asking via text for a plan for completion ***** stated he would be at the residence on Monday 12/20/21. No one from Fab Five showed that day.In addition to these items’ bathroom fixtures such as shower head, toilet seat, bidet provided by myself have been scratched/damaged by Fab Five Contracting. Shower head was screwed on backwards and stripped then over tightened to prevent leakage. Unable to remove now without replacing. Drain and overflow/ overflow plate installed we’re incorrect/wrong color and left for me to correct. Caulk is incomplete and cracked.
