US EURO AUTO: Dealer Edik: Review: Dealer of US EURO by name Edik purchased a really junky car for me. The car is real trash, since the engine sounds very bad! Also, dealer Edik could check that car via their own CarFax access, but his company US EURO didn’t even check the report. I loaded the CarFax report myself and found that dealer Edik and it’s company US EURO LLC “ lied me on car parts, he said that he replaced front and rear braking pads and all sparking plugs on 6,000 miles of usage, right after the car was delivered. So, he just lied me on these parts by telling me that he replaced them with new ones, but the truth is that he didn’t do anything, those parts were still good to use since they passed only 6,000 miles and they can last up to 40,000 miles easily. Also, before I paid the deposit he said the car is in good condition, but when I arrived to make a test drive the engine had very weird sound, when I pressed the accelerator it wasn’t enough power for a normal run, he said the A/C is heat and cold air work, but the reality the a/c: hitter and cold air we’re not working at all! This Edik from that US EURO LLC dealership blowed up the numbers, increased all the payments and charged me for the parts that he never replaced!!!

The vehicle in question is a 2010 Toyota Prius with 189,000 miles. This vehicle was a special order. The customer himself requested to purchase this vehicle. He really wanted the vehicle due to the mileage he drives in the year and the fact that this vehicle falls within his budget range. He put down a deposit in advance to secure the vehicle. We informed him about the vehicle and provided all the information we knew about it during the time of purchase. After the vehicle was delivered to our business. The customer came out to view the vehicle and test drove it. He wanted additional work done to the vehicle before completing the final sale documents. He wanted a full maintenance routine, alignment and to have the front bumper and passenger side fender repainted.

After we completed the additional work, he came back out. He wanted to fully inspect every inch of the vehicle before paying the remaining balance. He brought someone with him to help inspect the vehicle, and they said everything was fine with it given the age and mileage. We provided all the invoices for everything that we did, for the parts replaced, for the oils and filters. We even removed the tires to show him that we replaced the brakes and rotors. He complained about the vehicle not accelerating fast enough. We tried to explain to him that this vehicle has a hybrid motor and will take a second to achieve the desired speed. No matter what we did to prove to him that the work was done. He was not satisfied and did not want to believe us.

He became very hostile and demanded a full refund, even though he initially wanted the vehicle. We informed him that we would NOT be able to do a full refund because he requested additional work done to the vehicle. He has yet to pay us for the work. We offered three options.

Option 1: Pay the remaining balance for the additional work that was done. Plus, sales tax and titling fees to register the vehicle. The customer would fully own the vehicle at that point. He can do whatever he pleases with it.

Option 2: The vehicle would be auctioned off. We would refund the difference from the final auction price and the cost of the service that was done to the vehicle.

Example: final auction price is 5,000 subtract cost of service 1,500 would equal a refund of 3,500

      .
Option 3: We would refund the difference of the current amount paid on the vehicle and the cost of the service that was done to the vehicle. The current amount that has been paid for is 4,000.

When we last spoke, the customer was willing to pay 1,000 for the service and get a refund of 3,000. We informed him that the amount he was willing to settle for would not cover the cost and time we put into the work. We are still offering those three options and are giving the customer one week to decide. Unfortunately, we do not have the space for this vehicle on our lot. We will automatically auction the vehicle off and refund the difference if the customer cannot decide within the one-week period.

June 8th 2023 I purchased a 2015 jeep wrangler unlimited for $21,000 after tax and fess I contacted the dealership and was told there was nothing wrong with the jeep. I then had them take the jeep to a certified jeep dealership to do a full inspection. US Euro auto told me the inspection would be 179.99 before tax and that I would be contacted by the dealership (Jeep at Ganley of Aurora) who would be doing the inspection on June 7th 2023. Us Euro contacted me that day and said the inspection was done and no issues was found. I contacted my bank I wanted to use to get the founds done. I went up on June 8th and got the jeep on my way home I noticed noise coming from the engine and play in the streeting wheel at this point the dealership (us-euro) was closed so on June 9th I made another inspection to ***** **** in Columbus for June 15th. They found that the clutch is bad the crank or rob bearing is bad driver ball joints are shot and the front drive shaft is bad. I contacted Us- Euro about it and was told there is nothing they can and will do about it. The total cost of repairs is $14,200 I only asked US-Euro to pay half since it is a used car they told me they will not do anything.

Mr. ********* did request a used car inspection before making the purchase of the vehicle. We did honor his request and did an inspection by a certified jeep dealer. The dealer noted that there were no issues, and everything looked good. Mr. ********* was provided with the report and has spoken with the dealer many times regarding the quality of the vehicle. He notified us more than a week later that there appeared to be issues with the vehicle. He has yet to provide us with any type of report or any other evidence of these issues. We have requested many times for a detailed report, stating the issues, how there were discovered and why the technician believes that these parts need to be replaced. The last time we asked, he refused and told use to call the deal ourselves for the information. An itemized bill/ quote would not work for us, because anyone can call and say they need these parts and ask for a quote.

This vehicle is a manual stick shift. Due to this fact, it is very difficult to warranty the motor and transmission. We do not know how he transitions from one gear to another. We also do not know what road conditions he has been driving on. This type of vehicle has been known to be driven off road. He was able to get home from Burton down to Columbus. If there was an issue with the motor, he would have not been able to drive that distance. Also, he has made modification to the vehicle.

We did offer to do the repair. We offered to do the labor for free. Mr. ********* would have to only pay for the parts. We did disclose to him, that we would be able to get the parts at a discounted rate due to the fact that we have a dealer discount account. Parts would be around six to seven grand. Which is the amount that Mr. ********* does not mind paying. He did not believe that we would be able to the job properly. We did reassure him, that we would provide pictures, videos and any paperwork regarding the repair work. He refused and told us that he does not have the time to drive back and forth. The vehicle can easily be transported to us and back to him, same day.

In summary, Mr. ********* claims that there are issues to the vehicle. No detailed report has been presented at this point. We have offered more than once to take care of the claimed issues. We would do all the labor work for free, which is a value of more than three grand. We are still willing to take care of the issues, if Mr. ********* changes his mind.

      Better Business Bureau:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, we would like to know your view on the matter.]
So yes I requested a car inspection before making the purchase and was told by US-Euro that everything was good no issues and to contact Ganley Of Aurora for payment. I did contact Ganley and paid the $211.81 and asked for the inspection paper work to be emailed to me and was told they don't email that and was instructed by the driver who took the jeep to give him the paper work. I then asked to speak with NIkole who's name was listed on my Invoice that did my inspection and she told me that all the inspection paper work was given to the driver and they don't keep any copy's. On June 15th I called Ganley again and asked to speak with the service manager who's name is Mike and asked him about the inspection paper work and how they do it he said it is only hand written and there is no copy's to send me and there was a note in the account to give the driver the paper work.  So when I went to US-Euro and asked for the inspection paper work I was told by the owner he never received it and that Ganley kept it. So I took it as ok the paper work got lost. On June 19th US-Euro sends me a inspection for the jeep which you can clearly tell isn't real the miles have been over lapping the techs name is wrong and looks forged. So I called Ganley and spoke with Mike again about the inspection paper work and he also stated that there inspection paper work would have had there letter head on it and that the inspection paper US-Euro sent me was fake. I will Attach the picture

When ***** **** in Columbus did there inspection for $350 I dropped the Jeep off at 8 am and they called me around 9;30 am telling me some of the issues. At first I didn't believe them so they told me to come down to the dealership. I went to the dealership and they took me where the jeep was and the tech, service manager, service advisor started showing me everything they found just in a hour. I did ask all three of them when do they think all this started was it less then 1,000 miles or 1 week ago or before I got the jeep they all three said the same thing that all this started before I got the jeep and the dealership who sold me the jeep should of known. I asked them to come up with a repair order so I can let US-euro know to see if we can try and resolve the matter like adults. Friday June 16th I stopped in and took a picture of all the repairs needed to fix the jeep. Which I have already summited. US-Euro asked me to get the inspection paper work for them. I asked ***** C******* (service advisor)  if they can write up the inspection report so I can give it to US-Euro and he said this is there inspection report ant that US-Euro can call and he can explain it to them. I told US-Euro was ***** had told me. They have still refused to call the dealership to see what happened.

When I picked up the jeep there was 114,498 miles on the jeep there is now 115,025 miles on it. The day I picked up the jeep I had a 2.5 hour drive home and about 200 miles which was all highway. I stopped at Sheets gas station (2495 E Aurora Rd) and McDonald's (2533 E Aurora Rd) in Twinsburg, OH which is about 20 minutes form US-Euro. I noticed a little engine noise that was tapping. I thought ok so has little noise runs good cant be that big of a issue and at this time it was about 6;30 pm. The dealership already closed so I couldn't of turned around and take it back and again I thought it was minor. So after eating I jumped on the Highway for about another 1.5 hours and noticed there was slop in the steering wheel and the alignment was little off to the left. So again I thought nothing major just needs an alignment it is a used Jeep. So on June 9th I called ***** **** and wanted another inspection done to the jeep so I know for a fact what is truly wrong. The earliest appointment was June 15th. I only work 15 mins from my house and I work Saturday night to Thursday morning and sleep in the day as I work 3rd shift. The jeep has had a dash cam in it since June 10th and records everything and the jeep has not seen any off road or rough driving since I have had it.

So US-Euro said I made Modifications to the jeep the only mods/upgrades I made was the headlights and fog lights reason being when I turn on my high beams the driver headlight shuts off completely. The fog lights was so dim that you couldn't even tell they was on. So I put new headlights and fog lights in to solve that issue. I did change the grill due to the fact the grill color didn't match the rest of the jeep and also has no effects on how the jeep runs. I changed the rear tail lights to led tail lights because jeep tail lights are not the brightest and I didn't want to get rear ended. That also doesn't effect the way the jeep runs all the upgrades/mods added value to the jeep and didn't effect any of the issues that was going on.

US-Euro said all the labor would be free but no offense I would like the jeep to be done by a professional company who works on cars not a car lot that sells cars. That way I know the issues are fixed right and they wont be a issue down the road. My kids ride in the jeep and I want them to be safe. Since I had the 2nd inspection done I cant drive the jeep due to ball joints, front drive shaft, clutch and the motor making noise. It is US-Euro duty to sell a safe car to be on the road and since I was told/shown about the issues the jeep is not safe to be on the road. I will not drive that jeep till it is safe again. The last thing I want to happen is the ball joints to let go and wrack hurt my kids or hit another car. The labor time is 23 hours and a total of $14,200 with parts and labor I understand it is used and I am not asking them to pay all the $14,200 only half so $7,100 and I will pay the other half that way the jeep is fixed and safe to be on the road. I feel what I am asking is fair.

US-Euro can call ***** **** at ***** ******** and speak with the service manager or even ***** ******** and ask them anything they want and get anything they need. I have nothing to hide and I would never buy a car and take it straight to a shop to have things fixed on it that wouldn't need fixed. i love to come to a agreement that will solve this issue. But I need the jeep done by an actual shop who knows what they are doing with a warranty. I Only want half which I truly feel is fair which will cover the motor and some of the clutch. I will pay the rest of the bill from Byers jeep.

So US-Euro call Byers and please get all the info you need to help resolve this issue. Byers is aware and I have gave them full permission to tell you anything you want to know.

      Regards,

      *****
