I contacted John's to do landscaping on my residence in June. And he wanted to do the lawn work also. He did great the first month that he did the work mowing. But after that when he did the work on applying mulch and other work it went totally down hill. He (John) sent gentlemen out to see what I wanted and told them what needed done. When they finally came out on August 5th they totally did not do the work as they stated would be done. And what they did was take the mulch and put over the weeds. They damaged lights that I had in the garden because they did not want to move them. Left the spikes in the ground, left weeds in my lower garden that have to be pulled by me and now I have to go back and redo EVERYTHING that is screwed up. They left a dead tree in the flower beds. It is a total mess. Now I did not expect him to go inside to my vegetable garden. But he could of weed eat around it, plus the never weed ate around trees further in the back. They came out when it was raining and sunk their mower in the ground and left two holes that are 36 x 36 that have to be fixed. I had to re-mow the grass and we collected over 36 lawn sweeper bags of grass. I have such ruts in the yard from them that all of this will have to fixed. Attached you will see some of the pictures that was done. I will not pay him for any of this service since it was done so poorly and I am now the one having to fix his mess. What I want is for him to pay me for such a poor job and my time. On June 21st, 2022, I got John's Lawns LLC to come out to mow my yard and eventually do landscaping. It started out bumpy with the owner not coming out and seeing where the lawn was and what needed done. But it got taken care of and they did fine up and until July when the lawn was starting to look bad with high grass like they were not cutting. They seemed to be doing fair. Then July 11th, 2022 John sent out the crew to get an idea on what was needed for the landscaping and showed them what needed done, such as a pond taken out and some weeds pulled. told them that I wanted to look nice since we were looking to put the house up for sale. was told by them, the crew that they would make my fire pit area and the rest of house to look nice, matter of fact the one told me that they would make the fire pit area look like **** ***** colors. told them that it sounded great, and they were going to cut hedges and such. Then on July 15th, 2022, John the sent me the price and what the crew told him. His guys figured 22 scoops of black mulch and 4 red mulches for a total $2,500. And that they would be out in a few weeks to start on it. August 5th the crew showed up without a heads up to do the landscaping. John text me and said that they were almost done. And I was surprised since I myself knew that it should have been longer on getting it all done. But ok, they are supposed to be professionals. When I got home, it looked to be ok and I told him it looked ok, and he started hounding about the money right then and there. When I had a chance to go out the next day August 6th, 2022, I started to notice a lot of issues. Weeds sticking up all over the place and nothing looked like they told me. No red mulch, the pond was out, but what did they do with the shell and other items was what I was wondering. Kept walking around the yard and finding that the ivy on the side of the house was not cut to look nice. and weeds sticking up everywhere. What they basically did was take the mulch

I am responding to the complaint that was made against my company. I will not try to go over all the details as the customer has tried to point out. I will simply state that this customer allowed us to mow for over 2 months, without any complaints, had us do a landscaping/mulching job that was completed within days of the ONLY complaint that customer made to company. Allowed us to mow the rest of the month without ANY complaint. When I began reaching out for payment that was past due, the customer finally responded AFTER my threat to put lien on house that was now up For Sale. We were under the impression everything was fine. She paid for the first couple of mowings from June. Did not pay for ANY mowings from July or August. And of course, paid nothing from landscaping project from August 5th . Plenty of time to complain, go over, discuss. It was when the time came to pay up, that this person decided to complain. I will see this person in court.

Yes, I had him continue to mow, figuring that someone WOULD Do something to correct the issues at hand. Such as a text from Mr. *****r stated to me on August 5 after I complained about how the landscaping was supposedly done, in a text message, I told him that it did look nice, at least in the front yard, and yes, there were a lot of things that were done that could have been fixed. I showed him pictures of what was done and left a mess. And I even asked him about the lights that I had in the ground that came up missing. Well, those were found later on and they were damaged and broken. He never got back to me, and I had to again reach out to him about the issues. And I told him then, that “I hoped that this is not done? Because this is not done WELL AT ALL” He got back to me after I said that and told me “That the guys knew they still needed to finish. We will get it taken care of this week.” He sent out one of his other guys instead of coming out himself to see what was wrong because he was too worried about camping. The gentleman *******) did come out and I showed him the mess and what issues I had. At that time, he told me that “they forgot what I had told them when they came out on July 12 to see what was needing done.” I figured that someone would have done the job instead they got mad when they did come out to mow and then created even more issues with my property. It seems that because I complained to Mr. *****r and ******* no one wanted to assist in getting the property they way I was promised that the property would look. And I don’t know about you, but when you are told that something was going to make you not want to get rid of your property, you think you are going to get what they promise.
To this day, nothing has been done to fix any of the damage. I did get an estimate from another landscaper and estimated the repairs would be $3,000 to $4,000. I myself have mowed this grass and my neighbors have helped me gather the grass. This is not a reputable company and I know that there has been many a complaint about his service and how others property has looked.
Mr. *****r should be out and seeing what is going on with his employees and to see from day one on if his customers are happy. This just tells me what others have said about him, he does not care about his customers. And unfortunately, it shows. If Mr. *****r did not want this job, then he should have said that his company could not handle it and I would have found someone else. I am not going to pay for something that is NOT DONE right as I have told him. I am putting more out to FIX and REPAIR what damage his company has done than what I should have to do.

This customer has been nothing but derogatory towards me and my company. I refuse to respond any more to a person who uses foul language and threatening communications while continuing to exaggerate and lie about how things transpired. She did not want to pay when the bills became past due. We did fix the issues, which is why she let us keep mowing. She never complained or communicated. Until the money was Past Due. I will not subject myself to her verbal and textual attacks any more. I have already stated my plans.
