      I’ve been a member of Liberty HealthShare since 2017 and was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2019. I underwent a double mastectomy followed by five months of chemotherapy. My medical bills totaled over $200k, and despite countless hours on the phone and repeatedly submitting expenses, it’s taken years to reduce the balance to under $100k. I personally negotiated another $175k off directly from my providers. For the record, sending bills to collections seems to create ZERO sense of urgency at LHS. At least most of the bills from 2019-2021 have finally been addressed. In 2023, Liberty HealthShare decided to stop covering the monthly injection I receive at the chemo clinic as part of my ongoing treatment. Initially, I was told by an unfriendly nurse that it was being administered off-label, even though my oncologist provided a letter to the contrary. A few months later, I was informed that the real reason is they no longer cover what they classify as "maintenance care." It wasn’t until 09/16/2024 that I was fortunate enough to connect with Ketrina. She is, by far, the most knowledgeable and competent person I’ve ever spoken to at LHS. In just 15 minutes, she managed to accomplish more than has ever been done on my file. Ketrina also ensured I had her direct contact information and followed up with me personally a few days later. Her level of care and efficiency is unparalleled at Liberty HealthShare. While I do see some signs of improvement under the current CEO, the overall execution of Liberty HealthShare’s program remains deeply flawed. The concept is great, but the delivery leaves much to be desired. If you’re a member struggling like I have, I highly recommend reaching out to Ketrina—she’s the best person in the organization and truly a standout.

      I do not submit every little expense. Thankfully for my routine needs I am blessed to be able to handle expenses on my own. In the past ten years I have had to have a couple of surgeries done and Liberty has made the claims process as smooth as possible and they have never been less than very helpful. I have really appreciated their service and help. The cost savings has been most welcome.

      Liberty Health Share customer service is very responsive. The greatest challenge is the inefficiency of processing payments, and the bureaucratic nature of how it handles submissions — that is, even after requisite paperwork is submitted, there are often delays in its being processed. That said, notwithstanding its limitations, it is overall a fine service.

      I've been with this organization for almost 8 years. They have supported me many times. In fact, I had a stroke in 2018 and after multiple tests I had a rare congenital heart defect. I had to have surgery to fix/repair my heart. This process was yearlong and Liberty HealthShare was phenomenal every step of the way, very caring, answered my questions, dealt with hospitals/doctors/surgeons/bills, etc. and took care of everything. I'm proud to part of this organization. Thank you!

      I have never been helped so thoroughly as I was today by Keytrina! ?? I have been calling and calling Liberty for over a week asking for about 9 bills that were incorrectly processed by Liberty. I spoke to several customer service representatives, including a supervisor, who all promised I would receive call backs for managers. I did not receive one phone call back - ever! Needless to say, this occurred after I had been a Liberty client for almost 10 years. I did not feel like a priority to Liberty nor did I feel like Liberty cared about me. I was in current need of medical services but was denied by the provider until these bills were paid even though they were not my responsibility. I had stated my emergency situation each time I called in but my issue was not treated in an emergency like fashion. Today when I connected with Keytrina, she was extremely helpful, polite and knowledgeable GOING ABOVE AND BEYOND spending an hour and 17 mins on the phone with me to clear up the issues with Liberty’s system. She also was gracious enough to allow me to add the provider to the phone call to request these bills be placed on hold so that I could get the service I needed while Liberty was reprocessing. Having a caring spirit is an attribute which is lacking in most customer service employees that I come in contact with on a daily basis. They may be able to do their job correctly but that’s the minimum effort. Not Keytrina though! She truly cares! I understand why she has achieved her position as a manager. I would highly recommend Keytrina and nominate her as much more than a true customer service provider! ??
