In March 2021, we got an estimate to have a roof, front porch and addition onto our back deck.The estimate was completed by ***** ****** and Noah Miller. On April 22, 2021 we paid Noah $12,000 for supplies. In may 2021, Noah put on the metal roof and started the front porch. The roof was leaking. Noah returned several times throughout the summer to fix issues with the roof. He told us he was having difficulty getting supplies. We didn't see much of him until July 2021. Noah said he needed more money. We issued him a check on July 15, 2021 for $25,800. Noah didn't return until August to work on the porch and deck. We noticed multiple issues with Noah's work. We confronted Noah about the issues. He did not fix the problems. We called his business partner/Dad ****** *******. Allen came over and inspected the work. Allen assured us everything would be corrected. Noah returned in September. He did some work then complained of needing more money for supplies and complained of difficulty getting supplies. He said he wanted the remaining balance. We felt he had too much work to complete and multiple issues to fix for us to give him the complete balance. We issued a check for $13,000 on September 15, 2021. Noah didn't return until October. We noticed more problems with his workmanship. Things not level, different colors, items broken on railing, he said he could not put the steps in that were part of the quote, roof still leaking, loose railing and holes in the roof. We had to pay another contractor to fix the roof. The other contractor had to tear off the roof Noah did and replace it with new materials. We have multiple pictures of all the faulty work Noah did. At this point, we have no steps to use our front porch or our back deck safely.
