I have encountered multiple lies: 1. They claim the products won't interact with other products besides retinols (the customer service representative who was communicating with me said that my serum might be interacting with the Frownies stickers even though I wasn't using my serum and the website says it won't interact). 2. The products have a fake cruelty-free symbol on them and the products are clearly not vegan.

Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2021/12/15) */ Frownies Facial Patches have been available for sale for over 125 years and have never been tested on animals. The Facial Patch may be used with any skin care line. Cautions on the web site are: Q: Can I use the patches with "Retinol" and/or "Retinol A" creams? A:Frownies Facial Patches can be used with these products with caution. Retinol and Retinol A creams can cause peeling and irritation to the skin. Do not use Frownies Facial Patches if your skin is already irritated or peeling. Consult your medical dermatologist for this question. If the consumer has further questions the answers are clear and there is no deception. If there is a request for clarity here or a product concern I don't know what it is. This feels like a complaint for the sake of complaining and not a real legitimate issue that is trying to be resolved. What is the advertised claim? Consumer Response /* (3000, 7, 2021/12/18) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) It's interesting that you say you think this is a "complaint for the sake of complaining" when if you read my complaint you would understand that I have legitimate concerns that you still have yet to address. I think it is important that anyone considering purchasing from this company understands the experience I have had and the things I have discovered. I have made it very clear, I DO NOT use retinols - this is not my concern. When I asked your business representative about my issues she told me that my niacinamide serum would affect the application of the patches, but to quote the FAQ on the website: "Q: Will the ingredients in the patches react with my other products? A: No." Why is the brand rep who responds to emails giving advice contrary to the website? Which is it? Will products other than retinols interact with the patches or not? This is a SAFETY concern. Also according to the website FAQ: "Q: Are these products gluten free/vegan? A: Yes! All Frownies products are gluten free and natural!" "Natural" DOES NOT mean vegan. I was NOT asking about animal testing. The adhesive on the patches is clearly made with fish glue which is an animal product. You have skirted around this issue twice now. And the symbol that is on the patches to indicate "vegan" is NOT an industry-wide accepted symbol. Very shady.
